I had a great experience at the Chiswick store, both ladies that were there were rally helpful despite being very busy organising the stock.

I bought a top which I love sadly the store did not have the trousers I also wanted in my size nor on the other available colour so I could at least try them for size and then order online. I went to John Lewis who had twice as many sizes and bought them there. As they are different items it didn’t matter but if these had been matching/a set/coord I wouldn’t have bought either. Great clothes not enough stock

Very helpful staff and wonderful selection of basics. Not the cheapest option but the quality is amazing and worth the extra pennies.

My first purchase in Whistles. I have a terrible problem trying to get anything to fit. I'm rather small, probably XS, but something XS are too big. I was looking for a particular style of dress and it was my husband who suggested I try one on. It was a size 8. I was sceptical because I didn't want a red dress on this occasion, but also thought the size 8 would be much too big. However, I tried it on and bought it because it was a perfect fit. I also go 20% off. I left very happy indeed.
Staff were very helpful and friendly...nice bright store, happily return.

Was in Westfield White City 2 weeks ago and walked in the WHISTLES concession. Had never bought anything from them before. Cannot praise enough the service I received from Saira who helped me pick a dress for my son’s wedding in June in Tuscany. Tried at least 3 dresses and then was handed the dress: Orchid Print V Neck Midi Dress which fitted me well and fell in love with. Thank you Saira for your excellent service.I will definitely be using WHISTLES in the near future.

Unfortunately had a very dissatisfactory experience in the Upper Street, Islington store today.
I visited primarily to return a dress that I had bought online (which I loved but unfortunately was too big). When at the till, the woman on the till thought that I was requesting to collect an online order, and looked visibly disappointed when I corrected her that I was looking to do an in-store return. The rest of the returns process was fine and done efficiently, so I didn’t comment on it.
I proceeded to browse the store (as I’m also looking for a spring jacket and some new workwear). I picked out a skirt and a jacket to try on. Whilst in the changing rooms, I poked my head out to ask (the same woman) if they had the jacket in another size. Instead of addressing the request, she asked me whether the only thing I was trying on was the jacket. I told her that I had also tried on a skirt. Her response was to ask me, very abruptly, to vacate the changing room to allow another customer to use it (there was a small queue of maybe 2 or 3 people) because in her exact words “you don’t need a changing room to try on a jacket”. I followed her out, feeling like a naughty child and quite embarrassed.
I did not catch the woman’s name as I was quite shocked at the interaction and didn’t want to hang around any longer.
After that experience, I am now unlikely to want to visit that store again, which is a real shame because I only around the corner so it would be my go-to store. Shopping is supposed to be a nice experience, especially when purchasing not inexpensive items.
Bit frustrating. Bought some beautiful trousers (Navy Wide leg Hopsack)
They didn't cope well with first wash - despite following the instructions. I queried this, sent photos and gave feedback, but had 3 people respond, each asking if I have a receipt. Sadly, I don't any more, as I had been delighted with them. I provided a bank statement to prove purchase. I'm registered as a customer (and get the almost daily spam), and it counts for nothing. It seems as though giving feedback about a product is only valid if I have a receipt. Now I am being ignored, so have resorted to this.

Lovely ladies in the Bromley store, always so helpful. I try to buy in store, if available, rather than online.

Excellent customer service (via online chat) from Kay today. I purchased items which were then discounted in the sale only a couple of days later. Kay price-matched the difference for me and issued a refund. Very happy turnaround!
