Disgusting Service or rather lack off.

Beware, ordering from them is easy but clearly collections for returns are a different matter. They will hold your money until they can be bothered to attend arranged collections.
Will never order anything from Wicks again. Sainsburys Homebase, B&Q have always provided me with a much better and more professional shopping experience.

I ordered garden compost at the weekend at Wicks online. I have viewed products from Wicks in the past but it had never appeal to me due to the poor quality. But l decided l wanted to commit to an organic peak free compost and l decided to try Wicks compost as the price was affordable.
l realised there was a mistake when l received the delivery but l could not checked the items as l had not received the invoice . When l rang customer service for an invoice receipt, l was told repeatedly that Wicks was always reliable in sending invoice . I had to repeat at least five times and l had to wait 20 minutes before l got the receipt. I realised l had made an error in ordering and l would never order online from Wicks.
It was an unpleasant online Wicks shopping experience.
Appaling Customer Experience from Wicks
I see somebody has stated 'I don't understand why there are bad reviews'! Well until you have had a bad experience and realised that Wicks neither have the will nor capacity for good customer service i'm afraid you will never understand. I ordered £565 worth of tiles for delivery. The day they were due to be delivered I stayed at home all day because of the long delivery window. They didn't turn up. I contacted wicks. Silence.. I then received a text stating that they would be delivered the next day, so I stayed in again. They didn't turn up and once again 'silence'. On day 3 and having received no warning, they suddenly turned up. There were two pallets, one was stacked on top of another. Remember these were tiles!! The top pallet had toppled sideways in transit and destroyed 2 packs of the tiles . I have now spent approx 9 hours trying to talk to a human being or even illicit a response!! No response to my complaint.. nothing!! Silence. I am surprised that all of the backroom staff seem to have been replaced by robots and AI already. I thought we were at least a year away from that inevitability. Rather than being 'Proud as a Peacock', I am mad as a sack full of hamsters. To date, they have not returned my communications , just 'Silence'. My customer experience has become 'Terminal' (For Wicks). I have been well and truly ripped off and left high and dry by these amateurs. I will purchase from the professionals in future!
Postscript 2 hours after posting this review and in fairness to Wicks.. They have now responded.. Action! They have finally offered to replace the broken tiles and apologised!
John at Wickes's Torquay: An incredible man!!
I needed a new Kitchen sink mixer tap and needed some advice. I wasn't expecting to see a human being in a shop that could help, but was I ever wrong! John in the Torquay store sorted out my questions politely and with great product knowledge! He deserves twice the wages for half the hours!! (sorry I was so slow in posting this).
Where's the trolley
I arrived. Only two trolleys. Went into the store and saw a huge amount of trolleys being used by staff stocking shelves.
I was told 'keep getting them stolen' - no there in your store being used by staff.
'we had a delivery today' - ok but did you need to fill all of your trolleys at once.
When I left there was a person waiting for my trolley. Not good

Can't fault the service, ordered online, had to cancel and refund back in my account within hours. ATA automaster, 3 weeks for a refund, only after contacting the credit card company.

Having moved home we needed to completely renew our kitchen. Wicks Chester - Lee Prince was fabulous 👌. The whole transaction and communication was brilliant from start to finish. To start with Lee couldn't have helped us more from design to completion. Nothing from contact to altering anything was any trouble. We love our kitchen, it's beautiful and well designed. Overall Wicks have been a brilliant company to deal with and the quality and standards are second to none. Thank you so much.
Kitchen door and work surface replacement
I wanted to update my kitchen with new doors and work tops. Zack at the Tamworth store was there to help through out the process. He helped me choose the most suitable worktops for my new doors. This was my second wicks kitchen and like the first it did not disappoint. It’s well made and modern. The fitters were excellent they were clean and tidy and very professional thanks Colin. From the minute I sat down and discussed with Zack what I wanted I was guided through the process. I love my new kitchen. A big thanks to Zack and Wicks at Tamworth .

I had a fantastic experience at Wicks in South Wigston, Leicestershire, thanks to Dave. I went in needing a few things and wasn’t entirely sure where to start, but Dave went above and beyond to help me out. Not only did he sort me out with the right primer, but he also took the time to help me find a complete roller set and the exact paint I needed. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely went the extra mile. Brilliant customer service – thank you, Dave!

Called into wicks store in Nottingham North to inquire about a new kitchen. We sat down with Jake who went though everything we wanted and explained everything in detail ,ge showed us different ranges styles and colours. He did a plan on the computer to show us what it would look like finished. We were impressed with Jake he was spot on and we were more than happy with the product ,so we ordered our new kitchen there and then .

Bathroom replacement
We decided to have our bath out and a walk in shower also complete bathroom renovation. We went to our Wicks Kettering store and met Ranj Singh. A lovely and helpful lady really understood our needs and gave us enormous help. She seemed to have extensive product knowledge. We will most definitely use Wicks again and highly recommend. Amy Louise Hudson, the designer at the Hailsham Wicks store was so very helpful with suggestions and plans for our ensuite bathroom. We want the bath out and a walk in shower in. Amy replied immediately to my texts, answering my questions. In store she explained the procedures etc very clearly, taking me through the proccess step by step.
I highly recommend popping in to speak with Amy if you want to make any bathroom changes!
