Ticket returns policy not generous

The tickets returns policy could be more generous in the case of illness or unforeseen circumstances. Tickets have to be returned at least 2 weeks prior to the performance for a refund, otherwise they are only put up for resale if the concert is sold out. My experience has put me off booking any further tickets at this venue.

Appalling online booking system.

We tried to book a set of tickets for a group to attend a concert on 28 December. We were told that we could only buy tickets if we set up an account with the Wigmore Hall; this we were not prepared to do. All other concert venues allow customers to check out their tickets as a guest. I tried to get the booking office to see my point of view but got no help. For us, this is a venue to avoid from now on.

(Matthias Goerne) Horrific Torturous High Pitched Audio Frequency issues and zero consideration for customers

On the 23rd of July, a group of four attended a concert in the Wigmore Hall auditorium. As soon as the concert began a high-pitched torturous sound penetrated our eardrums coming from the audio equipment/Audio loop. The sound travelled across the auditorium causing huge distress to patrons. The agitation within the hall was significant with people covering their ears whilst the performance was active. I noticed that something had to be done to rectify this issue and took a leap of faith and exited the Hall to notify the staff of the problem as I stood up and asked to pass the stranger sitting next to me said "Good Call" I told him I will inform the staff so that no one has to suffer. I noted to the staff the issue who frantically ran around searching for the audio team and also the manager who they were unable to locate. I saw more angry patrons exiting the hall, who began to tell the staff that this was unacceptable and that people within the hall were suffering. The outcome was that the staff could not stop the concert or investigate the situation further due to there being no interval. There was no procedure in place to rectify the problem and paying patrons had to suffer. I'm hugely disappointed with the management team and even after providing my contact details, they have made no effort to rectify apologise or refund the ticket cost. a DISGUSTING show of zero consideration for customers for Wigmore Hall.
