DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

We are first-time buyers and were completely left in the dark throughout the process. Communication was extremely poor — weeks/months went by with no updates, despite us constantly chasing.

After almost three months, we discovered that nothing had been done.

Due to their lack of action, we nearly lost the house, and the stress this caused was awful and completely unnecessary.

Thankfully, we have now instructed a new solicitor and the difference has been night and day. I would not recommend this firm, especially to first-time buyers who need guidance and clear communication or anyone for that matter!

Used to use this company a lot until the substrate started getting Trich green meanie in it I was nice enough to not even ask for a replacement or use one when offered , I decided to use them again because the subst8 used to be really good ordered two kits within 5 days of inoculation the thing was sweating and trich appeared indicating the substrate was contaminated prior to inoculation.
They now ignore any messages so have switched to a more premium company without issues

Quality products, discrete delivery and rapid response to any and all queries. Definitely using again!

Top quality substrates from Williams Co never had an issue when there was an issue with delivery Williams Co were quick to supply a replacement free of charge.

Excellent company to work with

I always get my products from this company, I recently had a problem with some spawn grain but the customer service was second to none and the problem was resolved ASAP. A BIG shout out to Dave 5*.. I will be back soon cheers

Ordered 4 of the 2kg rye grain bags.

When they arrived all looked well, however, 2 of the bags looked too wet and simply did not grow anything (after inoculating with a liquid culture) and the 2 bags that were growing ended up contaminated after a few more weeks.

They had replaced my full order and sent 4 new bags after complaining about the lack of growth (which I compliment them on, they replaced the order without hesitation after sending photos)

Unfortunately though the second order had 1 bag that was contaminated upon removing it from the box prior to inoculation and 2 of the others split open at the top upon a very light shaking.

I must admit I’m very disappointed as the website and customer service is great but so far I have lost more than just the money but a lot of time that I could have been having successful grows.

Sad that I will have to find another supplier

(Also for context I’m doing all of my work underneath an Air Science flow hood with sterile technique)

Great customer service. Rectified an issue I had with contamination, even though it was hard to prove whether it was their bag or my fault. Good communication too.

Fantastic collection of items for the mycologically minded.had an issue with a battered box with burst grain(a frantic courier) slightly disheartening but I provided evidence and emailed a very helpful gent who resupplied the order in no time atall in separate lovely sturdy boxes.an amazing little shop with wonderful customer service I will be back 100% thankyou very much and keep it up !

Ordered some coco coir substrate through a email promotion but didn't receive the offer. I informed Williams and Co and they sent me the product out straight away. Great customer service and quality products.

I've had issues with their Millets, but I've had no issues with them as a company.
Any issues I've had they have tried their best to correct, and if they've been unable to correct the issue they've given a full refund immediately.
I recommend this company and will purchase from them in the future knowing they've got fantastic customer service skills and look out for their customers.
I do think they need slight work on their sterilisation processing, but once again, if any issues occur they will do their best to correct or send out a refund.

Ordered 20 plates, delivery was late and weather was warm tbh.... 15 arrived contaminated. Was told I would receive replacement, they came a few weeks later - all contaminated upon arrival. Ordered from myCo punks instead. They’re still good for everything IMO but I won’t be ordering plates from here again. Not sure of exact date - I’d need to check, but was a few months back.

I've had only good results so far with the xxl all on one bag. Only on one occasion did I have a problem when a bag got damaged in transit last week, and immediately Chris sent me a replacement with no arguments etc. I recommend William's & Co, hands down and my yeilds have been great. Thanks guys

Ordered some agar didn't arrive,they said it was lost in post and will send another,month later nothing, will never use again!

I have had so many successful attempts with this company buying and finalising the product thats shipped to me, I had one oopsy daisy and I believe I could have been in the wrong for messing up the process, regardless I hit up customer service, they give me clear instructions on what to do with there product but alas it didn't go well, I had a mold issue. I did tell the lovely people at this company what happened just incase they knew a cleaner procedure for next time I buy at this company. Well about a week or two went by and I had a full replacment of my order with one added extra, nothing major just duplicates incase I had another issue, this kind gesture was made up and finalised by the company themselves. I didn't ask for such a replacment because how would they know I'm not lieing? I wasn't, but that could be the case. The sudden surprise of a delivery really made my day and has made me put alot of trust into this company when they deliver a product, that's not to say everytime it goes wrong you'll get a replacment because I could have been at fault. But this thoughtful act of kindness was extremely appreciated and really made up for my last purchase going wrong. These guys are the best! Check them out! Don't buy their products I've gave them four chances and every order the grain was burst here and there and they even have me a 30 recent discount code after a complaint the grain was too wet so wet that they where mostly dark these products are so poor please don't waste your time this company shouldn't exist.
