I stoped using Airbnb the moment that they started asking, beforehand, for personal data that I do not see as a reasonable request. Then I read, on the internet, about Wimdu and I tried. I am very happy with the results. We have booked 3 apartments and all corresponded to what we expected. There have been no problems, so I cannot judge how Wimdu will perform under stress, therefore the title; I will continue.

I booked an apartment at Wimdu, everything was just like it was supposed to be, the support after all was great, in addition we got some discount for the next reservation which was nice... A perfect solution for holiday seekers.

I booked apartament for several times through Wimdu and until now it proved to be na excellent choice. It's a safe site with valuable options.

The owner of the apartment wasn't there, so spent around 15 minutes for someone to show up with the key.
The apartment is good and same as the pictures displayed on the website.

My Wimdu experience was simple and of the finest quality from beginning to end. This was also the first time I had used an online service company such as Wimdu. I had many questions and concerns which were all addressed satisfactorily. Finally, staying in the property was, naturally, the most important part, and was fantastic! Easy, comfy, just perfect.

We booked a big house in Greece and it worked perfectly. No hazzle. We got the house and location we expected. Payment worked fine. The cancellation policies may be presented a bit clearer than just strict etc.

I greatly enjoyed my stay in Mr Bond's apartment in Lishuiqiao. It is clean and comfortable and has a calm, relaxing atmosphere. It is situated in a nice, apartment complex, close to a subway station and also a short walk from a shopping mall with some lovely shops including Carrefour and some nice cafes and restaurants. Mr Bond is a lovely, kind gentleman and he was extremely helpful to me. He even offered to post some of my clothes onto Yongchuan, where I live, as my suitcase was too heavy for Air China. I am very grateful to him. I highly recommend Mr Bond and this apartment.

From a big selection of apartments I found a great one. Had a great stay. Made a mistake with a voucher and customer support helped me so I was very happy with everything.

I am still trying to get to the bottom of a fraudulent host we made a booking with on the Wimdu website. We have asked Wimdu to provide us with information on our booking, they have refused, so we have had to report them to the BDFI in Germany for breaching the Data Protection Directive. We have asked for contact details of the Managing Directors as we seem to be having no help from the customer service staff; they are washing their hands of the whole incident. Again, they are refusing to provide us with the information. The only way you can contact anyone is via email, and they seem to send the bog standard report of "sorry we can't help you". Well I'm sorry, that's just not acceptable. They should be wanting to get to the bottom of this incident as much as we want to. I cannot advise people enough to avoid using this company!!! They just don't care.

I have booked an accomodation with Wimdu twice. One worked very well. The other one had to be cancelled by the owner, but Wimdu staff immediately contacted us and tried to find a solution. Great service.

Easy to find the right appartments and nice to have the secure payments through Wimdu

We found a wonderful place to stay on our trip to Amsterdam and it was really easy booking on the website. It was see what you liked and then booked. I like the cancellation policy too. Great website!

was more than expected. Highly recommended ! The best solution on a
budget. If returning to Chania will use the same arrangement.

I booked twice through Wimdu. I was happy with the apartments I found there, and with the low commission compared to airbnb. Wimdu also sends me from time to time a coupon which can be used while booking. In one occasion I was able to take advantage of the coupon but this is not always the case for two reasons. One is that for some apartments there was no option to enter the coupon (for an unknown reason). The second is more suspicious: entering the same deal exactly, once from my own account where I was entitled to enter my coupon to get say a $10 discount and once from my wife's account who was not entitled for a discount, revealed two different offers, where mine was around $10 more expensive (before using the coupon). I wasn't able to get an answer from Wimdu regarding these two problems because the customer support of Wimdu doesn't allow one to enter open questions. So Wimdu still has what to improve, but overall I was happy with it and will probably use it again.

As I was looking for an accomodation in Krete/Greece, I found Wimdu.
The homepage was clear and easy to book. We could get in touch with the hosts so they could help us with some advices before we arrived. We were satisfied with the accomodation and satisfied Wimdu's procedure.

After 4 bookings through Wimdu, I put the odds at 50-50 finding something satisfactory. Wimdu provides numerous choices of accommodations, and make the owners provide a lot of details. However, some owners managed to avoid disclosing features and may affect their rental, and by the time we discovered those, it is often too late.Real examples: Sewer gas odor all over the unit from bathroom drains; not every room has air conditioning, previous tenants smoke in the unjt, not enough hot water for long shower. "Quiet" streets only if one does not open windows. . On totally different subject, after confirmed reservations, Wimdu does not respond to our emails promptly.

Have had excellent communication from Wimdu and all the places I have stayed at have been as stated on the site and excellent.

The location was amazing. Close to the main square but also nice and quiet at night. The apartment was nice but it wasn't cleaned properly and there was a lot of dog hair on the floor and couch.
