No refund from insurance company as promised.

I saw this company at trago and was in need of a repair so thought id ask how it works. After much reassurance that they didn’t need to see my insurance policy and reassurance that they deal with my insurers regularly I thought I’d give them a go. I had to pay upfront but was reassured I would be refunded. This did slightly raise a flag in my head but the chap reassured me it would be ok. So repair done and all seemed good. One month later… numerous calls to my insurance company who say they have no record of a claim, and phone calls and emails exchanged with the wind screen doctors I’m still waiting for my £60 refund. Dr Matt told me to keep him up to date but now I’m not getting reply’s from him! Do these windscreen doctors work for the nhs perhaps?! I definitely have windscreen insurance cover! (dr Matt suggested perhaps I don’t!) I know this because I have since had another stone chip repaired and my insurance company dealt with it immediately and I didn’t even need to pay an upfront fee. So would I go back to the windscreen company? Probably not, sorry!
