sent me the wrong wine/Customer Service went dark
They sent me the wrong wine and their customer service agents have gone dark on me.
Strongly recommend using a different wine merchant. Not impressed.

Very helpful site to get an market price idea, but the pro suscription has been multiplied by 3 at least in a few years....
They charged me but never shipped the order and stopped responding to email inquiries. Is it yet another internet scam? If they responded, I'd have an answer.
I did not receive my wine even though ups indicated it was delivered. I was home. It was the correct address. It was sent back according to company and I was charged delivery.
Bought 2 cases of wine ( Caymus yellow label ) which was what was advertised on their site . Got 2 cases of a lesser quality, no response to my emails,,, this site suks , go to Google !!!
Very disappointing experience. I received the wrong whisky and, despite sending proof as requested, the seller never responded further. Poor customer service and lack of accountability — I would strongly advise others to avoid this seller
I tried the one-week free PRO trial and cancelled on the last day. That same day I was billed. The day before I received an email saying I had just one more day. It was a hassle to get the bill reversed. I had to threaten to dispute the charge through my credit card company. The charge was finally removed but no one informed me. Three days later I received an offer to subscribe since my trial was 'just cancelled.'
I think not.
I would give a 0 if I could. Charging hundred of dollars for something I found less than $50. Such a sham.
I have been a Pro subscriber for years. The search function works nicely, although it only shows those businesses that sign up with them, so it is far from giving a complete and full picture of pricing and what can be sourced. On top of that, often merchants will show items "in stock" that are not. Ordering through them is terrible and confusing, absolutely not recommended.
The real part to stay away from is their seller ratings (Retailer Star Ratings) which is completely bogus - I have had more scams out of 4&5 star-rated businesses in the last couple of years than ever before. Always reported, and they do intervene to risolve the issues with the vendor. But in the end the rating system is deeply flawed.

I would give it zero stars if allowed. Do not use this company if you expect proper customer service. They use a chat bot and will give you bogus tracking information. I have no idea if it is a legit company but even if it is, they have terrible customer service support (if you can even call it that).

Terrible bot based service. 2 separate orders place with 2 different vendors on different days. Both were accepted. Both said shipment was underway; one offered a tracking link which offered no helpful information. Neither ever shipped after 7 days. I'm in process of canceling second order. Complete waste of time.

After a month 19 emails 12 broken promises and still no wine I am waiting for my refund of this nightmare experience. Would have given them 0 stars but had to give one to write a comment. Run away form these guys. Wine searcher is a search engine that I bought wine thru and then fought for weeks with to get my wine shipped and delivered. Still no wine but took money on day one. Stay away

Be aware of scammers using the wine-searcher platform to make you think you are dealing with a legitimate company.
Wine-Searcher will let anyone upload their business information and their wine lists and then the scammers companies are displayed on the wine-searcher website with their pricing. The price lists are product specific, so if you search for a wine or several, the scammers shop will appear on Wine-Searcher multiple times.
Wine-Searcher say they have standards, yet they have no entry controls for businesses that have started using their platform. There are no supplier screening, authentication or documentation requirements to upload a price list or to even start promoting wine on their website.
As a result here of, they will only react to fraudulent sellers, when a user files a complaint. This is completely unacceptable and irresponsible.
This makes Wine-Searcher a very unreliable source of information and the data they’re providing is doubtful for the buyers who as pro members buy access to their data services, in the belief that the information provided by Wine-Searcher is reliable and trustworthy.
Wine-Searcher facilitates the opportunity to run scams and lead their users directly into the arms of scammers, by not having diligent management of their business processes, when it comes to suppliers they allow to advertise on their website.
Be aware at all times!

Tedious cancelation process. It's 2023 and they require you to email them to cancel. Is it that difficult to add a cancelation feature onto the website? Response from organization needed, else their silence proves how ignorant they are.
Thought the pro version would show a lot more retailers but alas, it's only participating retailers. Understandable that it'll take a lot of resources to gather such data but the price offered doesn't justify the quantity.

So many listings are erroneous. When you tell them, they pretty much ignore you. Then ask you to pay for an unjustifiably expensive Pro account - that then gives you lots of wrong info. Waste of money.

wine-searcher is simply a website for retailers to advertise.Sometimes the retailers have the products they advertise and sometimes the retailers don't have the products they advertise. There is no integrity - just a place to advertise.
My experience is very positive after I reported a listed merchant had failed to deliver my wine order. They followed through by acknowledging my complaint, attempted to contact the erroneous merchant, kept me informed of their efforts, then finally removed the merchant's listing. I could not ask for more.
Ignore small guys who don't advertise with them. I have been on wine searcher for over a decade and I am very disappointed by their disregard for small merchants who do not advertise with them. I am at the bottom of their lists if my wines are included at all. They state I advertise wines no longer available which is a lie and damaging to my reputation. They do not communicate or show any interest in rectifying misunderstandings.
