I bought a Phantom Ice Maker and some molds for it.

They arrived in a box. There was some bubble wrap around the ice maker, but otherwise it's only secured by the rubber molds.

I found a small dent at the bottom corner of the Ice Marker, which creates a small downwards protrusion causes it be slightly off balance. It still produces clear ice, as advertised, but it sucks to have brand new purchases damaged, especially since the damage was preventable (assuming it a bump during shipping).

I also worry that this damage could affect long term durability. The Ice Maker is effectively a large Thermal flask. Thermal flasks lose their thermal isolation properties if their internal seal is broken and deformation is one of the ways it happens.
