On April 18

On April 18, 2026, I placed two orders with Wired E-bikes. Realizing an error, I initiated a cancellation request for both orders within 30 seconds of placement. Despite this immediate notice—well before any shipping or processing could occur—the merchant has failed to return my funds, totaling $[Amount]. It has now been over four days, and the merchant is refusing to provide a refund transaction ID or a timeline for the return of my money. This retention of funds for a rescinded transaction is a violation of the Illinois Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act (815 ILCS 505) and the FTC’s Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule. The merchant is effectively holding my credit card balance hostage for merchandise they never provided and had no opportunity to even prepare for shipment. I am seeking a full refund of all charges and an investigation into these deceptive business practices.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. Trying to make client pay for shipping for defective parts on new bike. Initial shipping was very expensive, $275. Very poorly packaged. Scratches and damage everywhere. Defective parts. Bike does have good power, but is very heavy. I should have read and believed all the negative reviews.

Unprofessional customer service and…

Unprofessional customer service and tone. I communicated with Steven and others multiple times, and each time they treated me in a way that felt condescending and unnecessary. I ended up selling my bike because I just didn’t want to deal with them anymore if anything else went wrong. Got a new bike from a different company for around the same price/specs and have been very glad I did.

I Regret Buying from Wired – Poor Quality, Worse Support

Regret Buying from Wired – Poor Quality, Worse Support

I bought an expensive bike from Wired after watching a bunch of glowing YouTube reviews. I genuinely wanted to love it. But not long after purchase, I was hit by a car (not the bike’s fault), and while the bike itself held up decently, a small but critical part that holds the handlebar column popped out.

That’s when the real problem started: Wired refuses to help me buy or source a replacement for this simple part. That's after selling me over $200 worth of other replacement parts. We’re talking about a small component that should cost a few bucks and be easy to support—but they offer no option to get a replacement. So now I’m stuck with a bike that’s technically repairable, but that now an expensive paperweight. I took measurements and bought a couple random race's offline but they don't fit.

Even worse, Wired’s customer service is abysmal. I waited weeks—sometimes over a month—for a reply, and when they finally got back to me, the tone was totally unprofessional. No accountability, no solutions, just dismissive responses and delays.

For a premium-"priced" product, ($4k) this kind of treatment is unacceptable. I would not recommend Wired to anyone. If anything goes wrong (and it likely will), you’ll be left hanging.

Wired is Good, Bump the Nonsense

Before you take negative opinions into consideration before purchasing from Wired, think of all the people that dont go out of their way to say they had a good experience. You probably found this because you had a negative experience not a positive one. I have nothing but good things to say about Wired, Steve is fantastic. Treat him how you want to be treated

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever, act like you stole it. So I bought 2024 from a guy w/ 85 miles on it 6 mos ago, anyway the bms took a dive They sell no parts for batteries so 800 for a new one, now I'm not real pleased. They know it's not a year old but I'm not original owner so no warranty, the girl on 800 line even told me to bad you didn't buy from us or you would get one free. Literally said that
Had I thought it would blow up at 6 months of riding 10 miles round trip 5 days a week I would have NEVER BOUGHT IT!! complete trash company, I am sadly in no position to $800 and frankly have no faith that it won't happen again. Seriously if you are thinking about it? Don't waste your money

WARNING: Avoid Wired Ebikes – Unethical Business Practices

I am compelled to share my deeply disappointing experience with Wired Ebikes, a company that has displayed an appalling lack of integrity and customer care. My ordeal began when I purchased an
electric bike from them in August, investing over $2100. Little did I know that this purchase would lead to a nightmare of lack of unprofessionalism and disregard for customer satisfaction.
Upon the bike's arrival, I was horrified to discover significant damage. What followed was a series of futile attempts to reach a resolution with the company, including website chats, calls and many direct emails with the CEO, Mr. Steven Goldman.
Regrettably, my efforts were met with either silence or sarcastic replies, leaving me without acknowledgment or resolution.
The damage assessment revealed a repair cost exceeding $600 from the most affordable bike shop in my area. Wired Ebikes, despite the exorbitant price I paid for their product, has refused to take responsibility for the shipping-induced damage.
In light of this, I have formally requested reimbursement for the $600 necessary to repair the electric bike, an amount that accurately reflects the fair and reasonable estimate of the incurred repair costs.
Unfortunately, Wired Ebikes has shown no indication of intending to rectify this situation.
