Both of our daughters have attended classes at wise owls learning, mainly to prepare for the Halifax 11+ test. The classes and homework seem to be well organised and planned out so that all the requirements are covered to give plenty of time to practice example tests. They also offer additional revision and a practice test in exam conditions which are both very useful. Both our daughters passed the 11+ as a result, we are delighted with their results. I would recommend this place.

We were recommended to Wiseowls by a friend. Our son started working with Tehseen and the team last year and it was clear from the start that they were very experienced in developing, coaching and supporting children who want to take their 11+ exam.
The team were very approachable and friendly and the way they adapted to the pandemic and to virtual learning helped my son immensely through a very difficult period, especially with no school at the time.
The pre-tests, workshops and intense revision classes a few months before the actual test were extremely beneficial and helped him become familiar with a testing environment, albeit a virtual one! I would highly recommend the investment in these additional sessions.
We’ve seen our son’s confidence grow whilst working with Wiseowls, which has had a positive knock-on effect with his schoolwork as well.
Having received his results yesterday, we couldn’t be prouder of his achievement and we’d like to thank Tehseen and the team for all the support they offered Noah throughout this last 12 months to achieve his goal.

What a great family run business. We were at Kipp McGrath and felt that class sizes were getting too large for our children. Since moving to Wiseowls we have been very pleased with the results.

Tehseen was very helpful throughout and helped my sister immensely during the last few weeks. My sister felt more confident doing the test due to the many revision tests that she had done.

I would highly recommend Wise Owls learning to those who are wanting to do the 11+ exam. The teacher works really hard to provide good explanations to what the children don't understand. Mrs Tehseen and the sir who teaches the maths are both amazing teachers and have good communication with the children if they are doing it online or in the classrooms.

My son and I would highly recommend Wiseowls Learning for 11+ tuition. Tehseen is extremely approachable, friendly and caring towards her students as well as encouraging them every step of the way. My son has grown in confidence over this past year thanks to the Wiseowls team.
The town centre location was ideal for us but then when lockdown happened and classes had to move online this was done with little disruption to the schedule and I'm grateful that Wiseowls managed to keep the momentum of learning going in what has been a very difficult year.
The resources provided are excellent and on the whole my son has enjoyed his weekly lessons as well as the additional sessions over the holidays - the summer sessions were particularly invaluable this year as he had missed so much of actual schooling due to lockdown.
Tehseen always responds promptly to queries and has been very supportive. Fingers crossed my son gets the result he deserves after all this hard work!

When my daughter started attending WiseOwls, what could go wrong? Lessons, face-to-face explanation, progress... Unfortunately, it didn’t last long. 2020 has made the people sink in a very unusual and challenging sea of lockdown and self-isolation. I was desperate about my daughter’s further preparation for 11+ exam. No face-to-face lessons, no progress, no success? No! Luckily, a way out was offered by truly wise teachers, wise tutors, wise learning centre: efficiently, the face-to-face classes were switched to the online sessions that broke the monotony of our ordinary life and gave my daughter the opportunity to continue the educational development and improvement on her way to success. When I say “success “, I do not mean just grammar school related knowledge. She has enriched the vocabulary and uses the ambitious words not only in the tasks set but also in her everyday life!!! My daughter’s overall academic results in maths and English have been blossomed: at school the assessments’ grades are above expected! For all this progress, achievements and victory I blame WiseOwls’ tutors. I do really appreciate the team’s individual approach to the children, their support and encouragement that have been given to my daughter this year! WiseOwls, you were truly inspirational and generous in sharing your knowledge with my daughter! My heartfelt thanks!

It is an amazing place to take your child. The teachers help your child as much as they can and my child passed with less than a year of tuition.

Fantastic teaching. This is the second year my daughter has been attending classes. Alot learnt and is achieving above standards in school.

All I can say is AMAZING! We would rate them 10 stars if we could. My son passed his 11 plus with Wise Owls Learning last year and my daughter has just passed her 11 plus this time around with the help from Wise Owls. I cannot express my gratitude enough. The team at Wise Owls are above the rest in terms of treating the children as individuals (not numbers) and nurturing them. The results speak for themselves.
