It is honestly impressive how inconsistent this isp is. It will be "fine" for a couple weeks delivering somewhat consistent 4mbps (half the 1mBps I use to pay form, more on that later), then suddenly it's a struggle to keep the internet on for another week or two for seemingly no reason, having to call Wisper directly to have them do something on their end to allow it to function at all. Recently they increased their prices despite us being grandfathered into our old plan. The price went from $50 to about $80 for their cheapest plan. Believe it or not, the connection has been worse since they did this. I have screen shots that I showed my friends where a 15GB download was estimated to take 3 months+ to complete. My family that lives on the same block as me, also have Wisper, there's 3 separate plans between us all. At any given moment, at least one of our internet is down. I also know that the many people near us that have no other services to choose from have the same problems. I am the "tech person" of the family, so I am constantly having to deal with this absolute headache. Also if there's any weather activity in the sky, the internet almost instantly goes out. It sounds exaggerated but it happens. Wisper is borderline unusable and I would suggest buying dial up if that is available to you.
Service since Whisper Internet took over from Easynet has been better. Lately, we have been having alot of outages. Sometimes short, but this one now has been 2 days. They can't even tell us when they may be able to solve there problem.
Is my wi fi password changed when previous owner merged with wisper ? I can't get my password to work. And speeds do seem slower since I raised my speed when Wisper took it over.

Since wisper bought out easy net, the service is worse. There are more outages and nobody to call. With easy net, when there was an outage, they would send out an email telling about it and what they were doing. Easy net also had someone you could call about an outage. I pay for a higher speed service with wisper, but it is not any faster. Sometimes I feel it is worse than the slower speeds. A lot of buffering and down time since wisper took over. Not the best service, but not much alternatives where we live.

Whisper has always taken care of any issues I’ve had. I can leave an email, and it is addressed promptly. I like the ability to use email when reporting issues.

Easynet and now Wisper has been great each time we have called and reported an outage or a slowness in internet. Living in a rural area (although only 3 miles from Sedalia), our internet options are limited, but we have not hesitated to recommend to others. We do not work from home, so cannot speak to that aspect, but our high school age kids have had no issues where homework is concerned.

We live in Hughesville, and we pay WAYYYY too much for the horrible connections we have here.
My son who lives in Dallas comes to visit and has to stay with my parents in Kansas City so he can work while he’s visiting because the connection here is not strong enough for him.
Unfortunately it’s a monopoly and there really is no other place to go for Internet so we are at the mercy of what is available. Until upgrades happen they should lower their prices significantly. If you’re truly concerned about customer service please take these reviews seriously and into consideration.

I live in a rural area. Daily, my internet goes offline. I started using your router because I was told it could be monitored better. It obviously has not helped. I keep being told upgrades are coming to our area when I call support. I will be looking for another internet provider if this does not happen soon.

Had connection issues. Called the office, first person I tried talking to just hung up on me (I'll assume it was an accident), the second person I talked to was great. Everything got figured out and fixed the next day. (Had to get new router, hence the delay). When setting up the new router, both the lady I talked to when getting the router was great, so was the other when setting it up.

My internet goes out all the time and they have came and raised the dish hoping that would help but it still goes out often

Since Wisper has taken over from my former internet provider which they bought out I have seen a slow degradation of service. I pay for high speed internet but suffer buffering a lot. When it storms hard I lose all connectivity at a time when I need it the most.
All in all I consider this just average service.

Service is slow from 5:00 to 9:00 pm in rural area. Just my daily experience.

I edited and changed some of this review after some of my issues have been resolved. After writing my first poor review they contacted me quickly. Thank You for doing that Wisper internet.
We are in central Missouri and Wisper Internet bought our local provider Easynet. They have poor customer service and there techs don't get back to you. When you call the people from Wisper make you talk to the people in Smithton and they are very unhelpful, just like they use to be when they were Easynet. In the last year and a half I have called 3 times and emailed 1. The calls we all answered promptly and the girl on the phone had me do the modem reset procedures and when that didn't help she said the techs were busy and they would call me back. That never happened. when I emailed them the service rep said that they do not have the techs call back, but I was told they would on the phone 3 different times for some reason.
I have the highest bandwidth they offer in my area which is 2.5MBPs download , I would love it if they would upgrade out tower to get higher speeds like most customers in our area, It goes down quite often ( 4 to 5 times a week ) but usually for only short periods of time ( usually under an hour ). Service is still slow sometimes times I can not stream anything without buffering a lot including YouTube videos, amazon, Facebook market place pictures are the worst to load, usually in the evenings between 530 and 830. I use internet for mostly email and my wife uses it for email, Amazon shopping and Pintrest and it is often to slow to load the pictures. Part of the time it cant even open the pictures in my email. I realize the bandwidth we have is not recommended for streaming but I figured it should be good enough for opening pictures.

Our internet has been working great so far. Weather doesn’t seem to bother it like a satellite dish does. Service is good and tech support is great.

Marc our installer was great! Very friendly and worked with me on the location of the hardware to best fit my space. Customer service/tech support have been great as well! Easy to talk with and understand, follow up calls, and ease of their “no contract” service! Their referral process is super nice! Great addition of high speed internet to our rural community!
