Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 45 reviews, most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Many customers expressed significant frustration with the customer service, citing unresponsiveness to inquiries, lack of support for technical issues, and unmet promises regarding response times, especially for those with paid subscriptions. Reviewers also reported problems with their subscriptions, including unexpected cancellations, inability to log in, and issues with discount codes not being honored. While some users initially found the product to be a game-changer, praising its speed, accuracy, and efficiency for dictation, a notable portion of people experienced frequent bugs and glitches, particularly after updates or purchasing pro versions. Seems great

I used to use Dragon Nuance, and this is a thousand times better than that and I would recommend. And so far, although I'm only a new user, I would recommend this software to anybody.

Do not Use their referral program!! Stay clear!

I have recently made a referral and I should have received one month Free/ earned add to my account because of the referral I made. They then go on to say the person who accepted the referral and activated the referral has to do two thousand dictated words. This person has done 2,200. dictated words and send me images. Yet on my own Whisperflow dashboard It clearly states this new user has LESS than 2,000. This is clear figure manipulation in order to get people to make referrals, they're not honoring what they promised was the prize in doing so. (no month free added) This is very naughty behavior. Brinking on fraudulent. Do not Use their referral program. It is a con. I complained then they gave me 1 month for the referral BUT i have to UPGRADE to PRO to get my already earned referral month!!!!! wow stay clear

Well, that was weird...

the macOS version was great for a couple of weeks, so i bought the pro version. unfortunately, it quickly fell off after that. it became extremely buggy and seemed to regress exponentially. the iOS app is abysmal and should honestly be back at pre-alpha. oh, and the support team are fabulously impassive when you tell them you’ve wasted your money. ha.

Great product - 0 support

Great product but no support. The product worked just fine, but if you can't get any problem solved through communication it gets frustrating, I first reached out a month ago that I wanted to switch to the yearly plan as they brought up in their emails that there was a 50% discount. I tried doing this but their site said I already had a subscription, which is true, but then why tell me I can switch to yearly with a discount, so I reached out to support back then, 0 replies. Since then, 2 weeks ago I had to get a new credit card as my old one had some fraud charges, I try changing the card, too buggy to get sorted. I reach out to support to see if they can help, again, the issue is not even bad support. I've had 0 responses on any of my requests.

This level of service is unacceptable.

I subscribed to the annual plan (around €140) right after the trial, and the plugin stopped working immediately. It seems there’s a compatibility issue with the latest macOS version and their plugin, but since then, I haven’t received a single reply from support.

For a paid product, this level of service is unacceptable. I reached out through every possible channel, email, the in-app form, and social media, and got absolutely no response.

Unless the team provides a proper answer (or a refund), I’ll keep this review online. I’ll gladly remove it once a real solution is provided.

Extremely disappointing support experience with Wispr Flow

I have been trying to reach the support team for five days with no response. Multiple contact attempts went unanswered. My enterprise account keeps showing as a trial account, making the platform completely unusable. The complete lack of customer support is absolutely unacceptable for an enterprise-level service. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever encountered. I am requesting a refund as this experience has been extremely disappointing for a product positioned as enterprise-grade.

Too good to be true

The product seems to work ok but I was offered a 50% discount due to some funding deal that had gone through, but when I tried to redeem it, it was not honoured and no response from the support team.
I wanted to sign up but don’t offer exceptional deals with no intention of honouring them - it looks a bit like a confidence trick!

When it works, its great

When it works, it works great—about 60% of the time. It self-corrects your speech, and it’s usually accurate. If you say something like, ‘The meeting is Tuesday… I mean Wednesday,’ it writes the corrected version. But in some text boxes it doesn’t work at all, and sometimes it just stops like the system gets overloaded.

Promises AI without AI

It promises AI. Using OpenAI Whisper on GPT, I was sure that this paid app of Wisprflow was at least that good. But its not. It keeps all placeholders, does not have any context (like the email thread), so its pretty useless. GPT is for free and so much better. Please let me know when you have real AI enabled.

Great App

So far, a pretty cool thing to:
1. Improve your English level if you are another native speaker because you're starting not typing but saying something and thinking about the wording itself, and it's pretty cool.
2. Text with somebody much faster and in the proper way because it also does all the grammatical stuff and aligns with your writing habits.

Absolute game changer

Absolute game changer, and for £12 a month, it's an absolute no-brainer. The time this saves typing is worth way more than the price. It's fast, it's responsive, got nice easy keyboard shortcuts. Nothing not to like.

This is a great app when it works

This is a great app when it works. Put your cursor in any text box, press two keys on the keyboard, and start talking. If you make a mistake or repeat yourself, Wispr Flow recognizes that, and your dictation is corrected. It's awesome. So, why the 3-star review and not a 5-star review? Sometimes, when you dictate, you may not get the dictation for 20-30 seconds or at all. This tends to be the case when you have a longer dictation and you are in part of the day that might be busier for their servers.
