Everything was planned by an agent who was well informed and who wanted to give me the best experience possible.
The spa treatments were first rate. I had a wonderful driver to and from the hotel. The accomodations and service at Body Holiday were perfect. Everything was included.

You stayed in touch with us, making us feel very protected the whole time. The first night, when through miscommunication we had no one greeting us at the airport, we felt a little frightened, but chose the right driver to our hotel, we were put at ease, and needed no help afterwards. I knew we could’ve asked you for assistance and it helped ease our fears.

We got compensation for trip interruption and medical expenses covered within 2 weeks of return home. Great job.
My husband got sick on the airport abroad and needed to be going to the hospital for check up. We missed our flight together with the group and catch up in 2 days. We were reimbursed for missed 2 days of trip, missed flight, new flight, hotel stay and hospital visit expenses. No delays in compensation, the claim was as reviewed very fast as we had all needed supporting document s. The payment was made straight to the bank account. 🤩

**Updated Review**
I traveled to the Philippines in November during a period of extreme weather, when two typhoons struck the country in less than a week. The first storm alone killed hundreds of people and displaced thousands, and the Philippine government strongly discouraged travel to many popular destinations.
Because of the dangerous conditions, my hotel in Coron proactively refunded my stay, recognizing that travel was not safe. In El Nido, I had booked a small, family-run guesthouse. They did not refund me—and I understood why. They were a mom-and-pop operation, and I accepted that loss without complaint.
I filed one insurance claim for that single hotel stay only, and I provided every document requested, promptly and thoroughly.
Despite this, the claim dragged on for months. The last communication I received—at the end of December—stated that the claim was being “diligently worked on,” but there was no clear timeline, meaningful update, or resolution for an extended period.
For an insurance policy purchased specifically to cover natural disasters, that lack of communication and delay was disappointing and frustrating.
Update: After I posted this review, Faye did respond and confirmed that the claim would be paid. I do appreciate that outcome, and I commend them for taking customer feedback seriously and ultimately doing the right thing.
That said, the process should not require a public review to reach resolution. Faster communication and clearer timelines would go a long way toward improving the experience.

Faye did an excellent job handling all of my travel arrangements. Faye provided excellent hotel and day trip suggestions while helping me stay within budget. I would definitely use Faye's services in the future.

I can’t say enough good things about Faye! We had a canceled flight and had an unexpected hotel stay with Uber and restaurant expenses. We also had damaged luggage and had to buy another flight. All of these were covered completely by Faye. They also gave us extra just for the inconvenience of it all! They really do provide what they say they will. Just be sure to keep every single receipt and email you received while making your purchases as they will require proof of every purchase, including proof of canceled flights. Don’t delete anything, you’ll need it! Also the ease of filing claims through the app, chatting with Faye reps, who are extremely personal, definitely not AI generated. They reimburse you through a debit card in the app which you can add to your Apple Wallet or transfer right into your bank account if you choose. The cost of the insurance was affordable too. Stop scrolling and reading reviews! Go with Faye, if you need them, you’ll be so happy you did!

First time I have purchased travel insurance and Faye had great reviews so I went with them. They lived up to their ratings and I would use them again. They paid for a missed hotel stay and delayed luggage. Thank you for your great service.

The whole experience of the travel to Paris France was impeccably done. My family which includes my daughter granddaughter and a son-in-law and myself, three generations of women traveled together for a week to Paris France. The flights were great with wonderful seats and the hotel was a wonderful experience. It is indeed a five-star hotel and we had plenty of room with a two bedroom two bath suite overlooking the Eiffel Tower. It's hard to please a grandma and a 6-year-old grandchild but the hotel did exactly that. We had breakfast every morning served in our room to include many many croissants and scrambled eggs and bacon and coffee and juice. Then we could start our day sightseeing. I would definitely recommend the hotel. The experience was one of a lifetime.

Experienced a flight cancellation on my way to Peru which caused me to miss the first night of my hotel stay. The Faye app automatically notified me of a possible claim. After providing the requested documentation (be very thorough!), I was paid.. I ended up getting paid MORE than what I paid for the insurance coverage itself!

We were impressed with the hotel accommodations, the tours were fun and informative! The free time was well timed throughout the trip.

The entire trip was well organized. We didn’t have any trouble with transportation and hotel stays. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The food was outstanding

How this company has a 4.8 in truly beyond me. I made a small claim (<$3000) because I got Covid just prior to my trip. It included 3 items- trip company, hotel, and flight. The company had everything they needed but continue to ask for additional documents that have been provided previously, each week, which resets the claim clock to 5-8 business days. Essentially prolonging paying out the claim. I have reported the is practice to the BBB under the parent company. I’m on 17 business days since my claim and it’s still not paid out. The only positive is an easy to use app interface.

Our one experience with Faye was completely worth the price of admission! We had an emergency medical situation in a new city in a country we had just arrived in and Faye/Air Doctor sent a local doctor to our hotel room within one hour! Wow. Diagnosed and prescribed right there. The doctor even drove me to the pharmacy where I could get the Rx filled! Well worth the price paid for this service and for peace of mind. I will get Faye again.

I was sent an itinerary and reminders every step of my travels! I love using the app. It helps so much with flights, hotel accommodations, etc.

Notifications and updates from Faye along the way helped, so that I would know to check specifics with a hotel or airline.

A travel planning service that we have used for a while recommended Faye Insurance when our family was planning our summer trip to Europe. We were visiting Slovenia and Croatia, not particularly remote destinations.
Everything started out fine in Slovenia and then when we were traveling through Croatia later on our vacation my stomach took a turn for the worse and not just some minor discomfort. On the last few days of the trip it was so severe that I couldn’t leave my room, I was scheduled to fly back on a Sunday and after a telehealth session with my PCP I somehow made it to a travel medical clinic in Dubrovnik. They ran a battery of blood tests and gave me fluids via IV and said there was no way I was going to make a 10 hour flight to New York in the next few days. They claimed there was little they could do except rest and fluids and to avoid any strenuous activity…including travel. So I was stuck in Dubrovnik for a while longer until my symptoms subsided. Problem is after several more days they were just as bad, if not worse. I couldn’t keep anything down and the bathroom might as well have been my bed. Another telehealth session with my PCP and a travel clinic and they said you just need to let it run its course. Finally, after another week I mustered up the energy to go to the airport and get on my flight. I arranged a wheelchair as I could only walk short distances since it had been almost two weeks since I had a proper meal, and somehow I made it home.
Once home my PCP ran a battery of tests plus sent me for a CT scan with contrast (something the travel medical clinic in Dubrovnik didn’t have) of my pelvis & abdomen. Blood work and CT scan showed Hepatitis A abacterial infection in my colon.
About a week after I returned I started the claim process, the online interface to upload copies of receipts, original bookings for flights and rebooking, plus other receipts was pretty easy. The ease of uploading receipts and documentation as compared to traditional insurance companies is what sets Faye apart. That being said, you still do have to deal with an adjuster who has to package everything for an underwriter. The original adjuster came back multiple times asking for additional documentation. Then another lady took over who was more succinct. From filing the claim to payment the process took approximately two months.
Why not 5 stars for Faye? First the original adjuster was disorganized and forgot to ask for medical documentation and had to come back to me several times. Second, be prepared to divulge a lot of personal information; not only receipts for expenses but also copies of your credit card statements proving you paid those claimed expenses, but also I had to provide the results from my CT scan, a letter from my PCP with such detail that I had to sign a waiver giving him permission to disclose those details about my condition. Lastly, during a phone call with the representative she balked about how long I had to remain in Croatia stating well we typically only approve a few days of expenses and this is a large amount (total claim was a little over $4k, I didn’t even claim the additional expense from my airfare home as I redeemed frequent flyer miles for my new ticket home!) Perhaps it was the adjusters lack of experience or knowledge about my case but I found that comment totally unhelpful and unprofessional as she’s not a medical professional.
At the end of the day Faye did pay for the treatment at the travel medical clinic and my stay for the additional two weeks. But $4k for that I didn’t think was totally out of line and trust you me, the hotel had mold on the shower, so I wasn’t staying at a five star resort
I’m planning a Safari later this year in Africa and I don't think Faye is ready for a trip of this scale. If Faye balked at the cost of having to stay for almost two weeks, can you imagine what they would say to the cost of being airlifted out of a safari to a major hospital?!
I don’t think Faye is ready for prime-time yet
to compete with the major travel insurance companies Allianz, etc. Yes, the traditional insurance companies can be overwhelming and laborious when filing claims, but they have the experience to handle more complex claims, I’m not sure Faye would have. Another review mentioned that they were questioned by Faye for her expense while contracting Malaria in Africa, this to me comes down to experience. From someone who has been to Africa before getting quality healthcare in remote areas can be expensive and complicated.
I do think there is a ton of potential for Faye and for a relatively straightforward trip where you are looking for peace of mind, Faye should work. The App is very user friendly and simple to use and I found the cost of insurance for my trip to be comparable to what the other older/larger travel insurance companies were charging

My trip was delayed due to a typhoon in Taiwan, and I requested a refund because I had to postpone my trip by one day. My connecting flight ticket was non-refundable, so I had to purchase a new ticket—the same deal with the hotel. I submitted all the requested information, but they then started giving me the run-around. Second round, more info, third round, etc. Every time I gave them the info, they wanted more. At the end, I just got tired of "more info needed."

Due to inclement weather, we missed our international connection in Miami and had to spend the night there instead. We filed a claim on May 1st for the costs involved. Faye asked for back up documentation including copies of receipts, credit card statements and a declaration from our international hotel stating that we were not issued a refund for the missed night. Faye responded quickly to every communication, but all of that took a while to gather and submit for approval. In the end, however, Faye came through on July 30th and reimbursed us for our out-of-pocket expenses. I appreciate that they are being cautious to make sure they are not being defrauded, so my only advice to any traveler using their service is to be sure to get all of your documentation together when filing a claim and hopefully your process time will be quicker. All in all, I'm very satisfied with the service provided and would use them again.

Faye Travel Insurance has integrity issues as a company. I was in the middle of a crisis when in Thailand and needed to interrupt my trip. I called a Faye Travel Advisor as I needed guidance on what my policy would cover. She instructed me that my expenses traveling home would be covered and was very specific about hotel, transport and any meal during the trip home. This was conveyed both verbally and in writing as I clarified the hotel expense on my Chat which was reconfirmed in writing. These expenses was then denied, citing the policy, but as you well know, when you are in the thick of an emergency, you are relying on the guidance of trusted Faye Advisors and not a long policy document. I was then told by Danny Alfaro, that he spoke to Brittany Ryan and that she told him to convey to me that tget make an exception on the hotel expense, since it was clearly promised in writing on the chat and that a new Summary Claim would be coming before the day ends. Three business days later and I now being told by Brittany that they will not honor added the hotel expense, of course, citing policy verbiage, instead of caring that a promise towards coverage has now been broken twice. Apparently integrity is not has important within Faye. I will be posting the promise made in writing by Faye and what has happened here all over social media, if the company does not stand by it's written promises. David
