I regularly order shirts from WNU and always find them extremely good quality, stylish and reliably good fits.
Recently I had run over the return period for two shirts that didn't end up suiting me and they kindly still allowed me to send back in exchange for a voucher.
My go to place for smart casual shirts.

I travelled from Dornoch to get to your sample sale in Edinburgh and was not disappointed. I shopped in your Elizabeth Street boutique whilst in London years ago so this was an opportunity not to be missed and I’m pleased I made the effort. Edinburgh is a great city and seeing WNU in town made it even better today.

What went wrong as I explained in an email is the pinstripe shirt from the get go looked and felt scruffy. I understand linen, love it and own numerous clothes .

But this shirt which I always washed by hand felt shapeless not comfortable like an expensive shirt - if I had paid say £30 I wouldn’t complain but it never lived up to the billing. A big disappointment. The button on the sleeve fell off first time out expensive clothes don’t lose buttons that easily. I rarely make a fuss but I am upset with this purchase. Juliet

I love this company and it is such a great find for me! I have bought the gingham shirts in red and white and navy and white and I adore them. Maria has been super helpful as with help and advice around sizing . An exciting new finding for me and I’m currently trying to choose my next shirt but they’re all so gorgeous and the tailoring is perfection x

I have bought many pieces of WNU clothing and have never been disappointed - always top quality!!
I recently ordered the lovely Hutton Jacket but received an email from WNU which made me think that perhaps my order didn’t go through. I sent an email asking to confirm that they had received my order. I very soon received a further email from Maria clearing up the issue and sending me confirmation of my order. So a lengthy email to say not only are the clothes great but so is the customer service!!

I made a mistake on the delivery address, and they were really helpful in amending this, especially as it had to be done quickly before the order was processed. Maria was fabulous.

Great shirts too

I bought a pair of their palazzo trousers in September, wore them twice and the stitching started unravelling in between the legs. I emailed customer service with photos and they accused me of lying about how much I had worn them, doing the stitching myself (?!) and said that because I had bought them a year ago (it was 9 months) and all their items are quality checked they couldn’t do anything. It was so rude I still can’t believe it. Terrible quality clothes and even worse customer service.

With regards to the reply below as you can see the company are still not taking responsibility for the bad quality and blaming me, I have never washed the trousers, I wore them twice.

First class company, Maria in customer services is very professional and responsive. The clothes are timeless British fashion; beautifully made and styled. The vibe is very much ‘borrowed from the boys’ but to fit women. I just wish they did the trousers in petite length for us shorties

Maria was extremely helpful in recommending me the right product for my needs. I'm very happy with the size, fit and material choice of my new "forever shorts" and can't wait to wear them!

Amazing, beautiful clothes and the most friendly, welcoming staff. I was out with two of my children and not only did Hannah provide brilliant shopping and styling advice, but Eliana and Marta also hugely enhanced my overall experience by entertaining my little ones so I could try on clothes. Highly recommend on all fronts! We will be back.

My wife loves the shirts. They’re not cheap but that is reflected in the quality.

My favorite button down shirts. I had a great experience trying on different styles and in different fabrics. The shop attendants were helpful, patient and so nice!

Bruna at the Notting Hill WNU was absolutely incredible. She took her time to show me all of the available co ord options for my upcoming trip and I couldn’t be more thankful. The store is peaceful and well laid out with the best service possible. Thank you Bruna & WNU !

I wasn’t too happy that the returns policy said i had to return something within 14 days of receiving but i get it’s a small business. However my request for an exchange was dealt with promptly and not with a virtual assistant ! others please note.

I had a terrible time with a refund when I returned two items from Canada. I contacted their customer service numerous times from when my refund (which took a full 14 days from the date they received in their warehouse to refund) was processed- they use Global e to ship internationally and I concerned that the refund amount was far lower that I expected. My total paid was $337.26, of which $10 was shipping which I knew I would not be refunded. However the remainder was duties and taxes, which I expected would also be refunded, as I have made many purchases from other retailers that use Global-e and have always been refunded those charges. When I asked (on May 29) I was told to contact Global-e, which I did. I asked Global e to either refund me or to provide me the information I needed to apply to my government to be refunded since the items were returned. No response to multiple contacts I made with Global-e, nor did WNU appear to care that their shipping partner was not responding. I tried for over a month to get an answer from either of them- nothing. I feel pretty sure that the amounts charged to me for duties and taxes were just kept, since they would neither refund me nor provide me with the import documents so I could request a refund myself. So I am out that money and wonder how many others have run into the same thing?

WNU customer service had told me on June 11 that if I did not get a response from Global-e within the month, to let them know. I did so on June 30 and have received no response at all.

In addition, my review (which was negative) was never published on their site, so they definitely only publish positive reviews. If you are an international customer for them I would strongly recommend you do not buy unless you know for certain you will not need to return. So, so disappointing as I had really hoped my first order with them was going to be the first of many.

The shorts I ordered were nice, but nothing out of the ordinary. The price was high for what they were.

I wanted to return the shirt, but I was 2 days out of my 14 day window and they wouldn’t make an exception. Instead only offering a credit note. I’m pretty sure this is against distant selling regulations, but either way - it left a sour taste and I won’t be buying anything from this shop again.

WNU is a great clothing brand. The quality is excellent, the cuts super flattering and comfortable and the styles work brilliantly for both home and office. Maria in customer service is so helpful too.

One of my favourite shops. Have built up quite a collection of shirts now in linen, tencel and silk. Affordable luxury! I love the Elizabeth Street store, so helpful and Maria from the WNU Customer Service Team, cannot do enough to help. I'm heading off to Devon for a few days and can't wait to pop in to the new shop in Salcombe!
