Purchased a car in 2025 and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Within a month, the car developed serious engine issues.

The process was frustrating: collection dates were missed, communication was poor, emails and calls went unanswered for weeks, and documentation for the replacement engine was never provided. Staff interactions were unprofessional.

Avoid. They are now operating under a different name in Louth, so beware.

I enquired about a bmw m240i that was for sale with some very specific requests. Out of all the dealerships I asked to work with me on these requests WJF were the only ones to do so. Went to view the car agreed it was the one I wanted then came to pick it up today. Ceramic was done beautifully looks like a brand new car. Had a few things on the car I wanted to change at which they did no problem. Upon driving off today there was a strange noise coming from the rear, after taking it back the owner himself came down and personally fixed the car so we didn’t have to come back another day! That wasn’t all after that they even followed me to the nearest petrol station and gave me a full tank for my troubles. Amazing people, amazing dealer would definitely recommend to anybody looking for a hassle free car purchasing experience. 10/10

The owner has the most aggressive attitude I’ve ever come across , luckily we didn’t complete the purchase otherwise I can see that would have been a absolute nightmare if there where issues with the vehicle as I won’t take fools lightly and this guy certainly is one

My partner and I bought a car from WJF in June 2024. The initial buying process was fine, but we were misled about the MOT - it was advertised with 12 months but only came with six. Having travelled five hours to collect it, we had little choice but to accept it.

Within weeks, we had serious mechanical issues. Bolts around the driveshafts came loose, making the car undrivable. We had to arrange recovery at our own expense, which WJF refused to reimburse. When the garage assessed the car, they also flagged the front shocks were weeping/misting. Since the car was under warranty, the garage contacted WJF. They agreed to cover the driveshaft repair but refused to replace the shocks, insisting they hadn’t officially “failed.”

When we challenged this later having had to pay for the shocks to be replaced, the owner denied any knowledge of our previous discussions with his employee but said he would “look into it.” and claimed it should have been covered by the warranty.

Since then, all emails have been ignored, and we've been left taking the financial hit.

Terrible aftersales service and no accountability, we would definitely not recommend

My experience buying & selling with WJFCarsales was excellent from start to finish! The level of professionalism and attention to detail the team displayed was truly impressive. All interactions were stress free, zero pressure, knowledgable, honest, respectful. I genuinely found the whole experience enjoyable and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again/recommend to friends & family.

Attended a few weeks ago to look at a car with the view to buy, only to be greeted by the most unprofessional and arrogant man I’ve ever met!
Needless to say I did not proceed any further.

Awful experience from start to finish. I bought a car from this company expecting decent service and a reliable vehicle – got neither. The car had issues immediately, and when I tried to reach out for assistance, I was mostly ignored or fobbed off by them. Every interaction felt like they were either dodging responsibility or trying to make me feel like I was in the wrong. They promised repairs, but nothing was done properly, leaving me out of pocket and dealing with a car that’s not roadworthy. They just want to sell and forget, with no interest in post-sale service or customer satisfaction. If you’re considering buying from here, I’d strongly advise against it – save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere.

I purchased a Mercedes GLC63 number plate EX18 BZC from WJF motors 3 months ago..

The car cost £40,000 which I paid a £10,000 deposit for.

We agreed to have the car delivered to my address as the company is 200 miles + away. After receiving the car the engine light came on within 2 hours of having the vehicle.

I contacted WJF motors right away the instructed me to take the car to a local Mercedes garage. After inspection the car needed 40 hour of labour and £15,000 worth of work carried out, the company clearly sold me a faulty car and wiped the diagnostics before selling the vehicle.

They agreed to take the car back as they didn’t really have any other choice but they had the audacity to keep the £500 they charged me to bring the broken car down which is no longer in my possession. They also drove the car down which takes away one of the main reasons for paying for the delivery charge as you want to keep the mileage down on a luxury vehicle like the GLC 63 AMG.

Very poor business unprofessional through out.

CUSTOMERS BE AWARE IF YOU SEE A MERCEDES GLC 63 number plate EX18 BZC the car engine is damaged the timing chain is out and needs a lot of work doing. Lucky for me the engine light came on straight away and not when the warranty expires. If you are purchasing a car from this garage get a diagnostics check before.

If you want your dream car, these are the people! Such a great experience start to finish. Very friendly staff, made me feel welcome. Just made a phone call enquiring about the car, they presented the car in a space inside as it was raining. Had a good look round, gave good answers to my question. Carried out a test drive and I was hooked. The work that went into the body work was unreal, the valet team put their heat and soul into the car as I’m sure they do for all. The ceramic is worth the money! When I picked the car up it was in a dedicated bay with lights and mirrors, brilliant way to present the vehicle. Not many garages off this level of service. Top marks in my opinion!

Sold my BMW to WJF through Motorway and couldn't be happier with the experience. Car was listed on Saturday and Will contacted me on Sunday to arrange pickup the next day. Incredibly knowledgeable and friendly - finance was cleared on the spot and they remained supportive and communicative while BMW messed me about. Honestly, one of the nicest car dealers I've have the pleasure of working with.

Dealing with WJF car sales was an absolute pleasure, Will was completely transparent in all our dealings and went well out of his way to ensure I was happpy with the car that I purchased. WJF car sales goes above and beyond to ensure the customer experience is second to none. Exceptionally happy with my experience, all staff are enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the cars in stock and exceptionally professional.

Put deposit down before Xmas. Terrible comms. Run into issue where their company failed vetting for reputable lender I was using. I don’t pass their vetting for their lenders unless bigger despite excellent score. Threw deposit back at me. Shouted on phone how he has helicopters and lots of money, as if it’s my fault. No problem isn’t solvable and offered to likely send bigger deposit and also found another lender Santander to sort. Whole time he has been rude, not answering calls, texts and emails, and likely just wanted to sell to another interested party that could use his lender to make more. If selling a car through them, then I’m sure they are great… but this buying experience being spoke to like scum is not acceptable. Found out car was sold on forum whilst awaiting response from 2 messages and 2 emails. Company review below… high risk! Just like their service

Will is quite possibly the nicest guy you'll meet in the motor trade. Bought a car from me recently and he couldn't have been more accommodating. Set a time to pick it and arrived when he said his was going to. Walked me through bank transfers. Even offered to help when my finance company were taking the Micheal. Top bloke, genuine and great to deal with. Thoroughly recommend him.

I used Wfj car sales to move a car for me. The service I received was first class - both friendly and efficient. I would certainly recommend this company and I would be very happy to use their services again. Thanks to a good company.

Will was spot on from start to finish and made sure I got what I wanted for the right price brill service would recommend and use again! Also had a slight problem with car about 5 months after and Will was straight onit with getting me sorted and going again!

What a great experience from start to finish. Will is first rate, made me feel welcome, a pleasure to do business with. I bought a VW Golf and he took my Evo in part exchange. Due to Covid there was an issues with DVLA, but Will added me onto his insurance so that I could take the car away. An absolute pleasure to deal with, and cannot recommend him highly enough.

From start to finish an all round easy and good experience. Wjfcars made selling my car quick and easy and it didn’t come at the cost of lowering the price I wanted it sold for. Best price I could find on the market with a very reasonable commission rate. Couldn’t of asked for a better service and will be highly recommending this to family or friends wanting to part ways with there vehicles!

Had my st off them last it was everything I wanted and more lovely experience buying it

I've now had my vxr for 2 months and everything is great. Had a great choice of top spec cars when we went to look, and brilliant customer service at finding a finance option that worked for me aswell as being really helpful at securing me a low interest rate. After driving the car for a couple of week a slight squeek started on the breaks he came and picked it up the next day and resolved the issue. Couldnt rate the service at point of sale and afterwards anymore, will definitely being going back to him for my next upgrade.
