Just moved into our home. Discovered that our combination oil boiler was leaking water. Text Ben ( on a Sunday). He called back within the hours. Attended. Stopped the leak. A couple of days later replaced the offending part. All sorted. Very professional. Very happy customer and now on a twelve month rolling contract with him. Recommended 👍🦆

Great response when we needed help. Despite being late in the day, Ben was thorough and completely professional to resolve the situation. We will be using this company for services from now on.

Great service. New boiler fitted and working in 2 days, just 1/2 day more to fully complete and do some extra works for us. Engineer, Bill, took time to explain everything. Lovely clean job and all rubbish removed. All certificates e mailed to us.
Definitely recommend this company and will be using them for any future works and servicing.

A very competent team, did my boiler replacement in two days instead of four as first estimated I couldn't fault them. I would definitely recommend them and will be using them in the future

Had my annual service from another company and they damaged a part in doing so to be told I’d need a new boiler at a cost of thousands Ben Townsend came out diagnosed the issue and repaired for a lot less than a thousand allways on hand to give advice and a prompt service
Needless to say he will be doing my service from now on.👍👍👍👍

Ben and his team are polite, friendly and incredibly helpful. We had a new boiler installed outside, and our old internal one taken out, and it was seamless and didn't feel intrusive at all. I can't really rate the highly enough!

We contacted Ben when the boiler pressure was falling. He identified the problem as leaking pipes buried in the ground floor concrete and recommended total replacement as simply locating and fixing a specific leak would inevitably leave us open to more similar problems in the future.
The work, including the supply of new radiators,
was completed in 6 days as promised with the inevitable disruption kept to a minimum.
A job well done and heating fully restored.

I found Ben to be very knowledgeable, we live in an old house which has had plenty of add ons in its 200 years. He very quickly got to grips with our plumbing, and fixed our water pressure issue after 10 years and numerous other plumbers! He has also advised us on how to fix minor problems saving us money, which could have gone the other way. I trust Ben and his advise, I would highly recommend him!

Very impressed with Ben who did such a thorough job that an issue left by the previous engineer was quickly identified and resolved. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

After reporting the fault to W.J. Townsend & Son they came to the house very quickly and found the problem, which was not serious, they returned the following day with the relevant parts to fix the problem.
The faulty part was a split condensation drain pipe, having replaced the pipe I noticed that the pipe was not sloping downwards to allow the water to flow away, the engineer explained that while he was working in such a confined space he could not see how the pipe was laying, once out of the confined space he would have seen it and rectified it, which is what he did.
W.J. Townsend & Son have looked after my boiler for the past 13 years and have always been very efficient, friendly and polite.

Everyone's cheerful and helpful. The work is done cleanly and efficiently, for a reasonable price. Used them for years. Support local family businesses !!
