Not the best experience
Not the best experience.
It was a while back but I had to wait so long due to the frame of my Ronnie Wastecoat was damaged by staff.
The worst thing was the Woodford reserve I bought, the batch number was in the 200’s so I thought I’d have that. When it arrived the batch number was in the thousands.
Customer server did not want to help and said sorry we often use old images if auction the same item.
Oh really so I’ll bid for a £10,000 Rolex next time but because you use old images I’ll receive a G-shock. Really 🤔

To clarify, the initial concern regarding the waistcoat was addressed at the time. Where issues arise — whether caused in transit or otherwise — we do not shy away from them. We take full ownership and resolve matters directly through clear communication, which is exactly what we did in your case.
For context, all deliveries are handled by third-party couriers, and on rare occasions damage can occur in transit. However, regardless of fault, we take responsibility and ensure the matter is put right for the customer.
In relation to the Woodford Reserve, batch numbering at that level does not represent a difference in value or quality — it is simply a production reference. The product supplied would have been genuine and consistent with the listing.
Regarding imagery, when multiple identical items are in immaculate condition, a library image may be used for presentation purposes. This is standard industry practice, and the item supplied will always match the described specification.
We handle thousands of lots each week, and while issues can occasionally arise in any business of scale, what defines a company is how those issues are resolved. We believe our customer service speaks for itself — all calls are handled directly by our team (not automated systems), and we pride ourselves on delivering one of the highest levels of customer care in the UK auction sector.
That said, we always encourage customers to contact us directly at the time of an issue so it can be resolved quickly, but we can not find any buying details for you, so we would like you to get in touch with us soon, please, so we can have the opportunity to resolve it.

Wow, what an experience!
WLC not only offers a fantastic selection of auction items, but everything starts at a really reasonable price. I recently bid on two liquid art pictures and was lucky enough to win both at a great value. One was a gift for my son, who was absolutely over the moon.
The quality of the pieces is outstanding, and the customer service from the WLC team has been brilliant. They contacted me the very next day to arrange delivery at a time that suited me, and even followed up afterwards to make sure I was happy with my items.
I’ll definitely be bidding with WLC again!

Great Experience
The platform is straightforward to use and the bidding process is simple to follow and there are some great items on there. I have made two purchases recently and am very happy, delivery was super quick through DPD.
If you haven't bid on an auction before just be aware of the added % and delivery costs but I was more than happy with what I paid.
I will definitely be using them again when something pops up I am interested in.

MY Apologies To WLC
Hindsight is a wonderful thing, and now wish I had instead of writing a review entitled “Hugely Disappointing” which may have been detrimental to WLC auctions, I now realise I should have contacted them personally, my apologies.
I still think there is room for improvement in p/p and certain descriptions of products, however, I would now commend something which in my opinion is lacking in companies CUSTOMER SERVICE. WLC auctions has again proven to be Superb in their efforts to resolve my issues, which they have done.
Firstly an email, so apologetic and then secondly a personal call from a company director, unbelievable service.
Yes I was disappointed in certain things,BUT, and this is a massive but, please do not do what I did and write a review on WLC auctions
without contacting them directly. They are so helpful will resolve any issues you may have.
WLC auction house is difficult to summarise , Why, how do you summarise absolute brilliant customer service.
