Highly recommended

We found Wharton Natural Infrastructure Consultants Ltd to be a very professional, thorough and efficient organisation.
The staff were courteous and willing to address any we queries had. The tree assessment they carried out gave us great peace of mind.
We would certainly recommend their service.

Very poor customer service

Be aware of checking your quote very carefully as they present in big bold writing total to pay but then add vat and mileage in lower print underneath. They don't tell you how much mileage will be and charge more than the government rate by 9p. They are on site for 15mins and leave without even talking to you about what they found. They don't confirm that you have received the report and understand its findings. Would not recommend them very poor customer service - Thank you for your response it is a shame it is not accurate as your employee was on site 15 mins and was asked to speak to my husband who was on site but she left instead without even making an attempt to discuss her findings. Whilst my quote was issued in November 2021 you could have communicated with us, you could have told us once you knew who was attending to conduct our survey where they were travelling from and the addition it would make to our quotation and yet you chose not to. It is disappointing that you hide the true cost of doing business with you. Why do you not use sub total then vat @ then the real total of the bill in order that your clients can see the REAL TOTAL PAYABLE.
Sorry not good enough

Thank you for your review and I am really sorry that your experience has not been the same as so many other clients that we work with. We take all reviews very seriously whether they are positive or highlight areas for improvement.

In relation to our fees specifically, we are very clear on line 1 of the terms beneath the fee proposal that 20% VAT will be added.

In relation to the mileage, in the past 6 months we have changed how we show this and now include it within the initial fee proposal as a separate line item, unfortunately the fee proposal for your project was done in November 2021 prior to the change in January 2022, however your comments have validated the reasons for making the change. The cost charged per mile is at the discretion of the company and reviewed on a regular basis, the 0.45p per mile set by the Government has not been raised for many years and this is the cost that employees are paid before being taxed per mile by a company.

The time spent on site, is that required for the consultant to gather all information. In this instance you had left the property prior to the consultant completing the visit, and therefore the initial findings could not be communicated with you on site.

I understand in this instance that our consultant, because they hadn't spoken with you at the end of the site survey, specifically sent you an email providing an overview of the findings with the final report.

We certainly welcome the feedback in relation to the follow up report part and findings once the report has been issued, and will put your feedback into our improvements to the customer experience.
