Quality Control issues, arrived damaged and wet
Oredred in past and always delivered FRESH and on time. We ordered two four packs of carious muffins. When the packages were delivered - BOTH were damaged and when i opened the muffins were wet and water had leaked into the packages. The muffins were Hard and wet. When i went to have a muffin later once driend out - fell apart in my hand as i trtied to cut! NEVER NEVER buying again! I read Harry & David took over the brand - TOO BAD, another great Brand GONE! ashame - one more LOST customer.

Placed order and paid, 8 days ago. Sent me a tracking number with no tracking. FedEx says they have only a "label," no pakage. Wolferman's ChatBots demanded 7 pieces of info to investigate, came back and said they couldn't find the order and that no package was created or sent and "There is no tracking information available to us just yet. We humbly apologize, this is not the type of service we take pride in offering. Thank you for allowing us to assist." NEVER DID ANYTHING. ASSIST? THESE PEOPLE ARE THIEVES!
Harry & David's have ruined Wolferman's
Harry & David's seem to have ruined the brand. We've been ordering Wolferman's for more than 15 years, with good experiences, but after this experience, we won't be back.
Ordered a mix n match basket for my dad's birthday. Committed order to be delivered on 11/13. On that day, there is still no tracking. Started chat and agent told me it was shipped, but delayed. I asked for a tracking number. No response (because it wasn't shipped). Only offered to re-schedule for 11/15 "for no additional charge." Um, this is Wolferman's mistake, I asked for a discount for the delay. Do you know what the agent had the nerve to tell me? "No additional shipping charge is the discount."
It took over 30 minutes to get to this point and I had to go, so I just told them to reschedule. I then got literally 7 emails rescheduling the delivery to 11/15. Oof
But, that's end of story, right? Nope. They call me back the next day telling me it can't be delivered by 11/15 (the next day) and generously offer to reschedule it for 11/20-24 "for no additional charge." Pi**ed doesn't even begin to describe where I was at that point. I cancelled the order with prejudice. Absolutely ridiculous.
Harry & David has totally lost their way with order fulfillment and customer service. If you're ordering for a special event, they will let you down. Do not trust them
Wolferman's lied to me twice
I ordered cinnamon rolls for my mother-in-law for her birthday. The package was crushed, apparently during shipment. My mother-in-law reported to me that the inner package had been ripped opened, the rolls had been exposed to the air, they were stale, and they were inedible. I contacted Wolferman's and asked if they could send a replacement. The company said it would. My mother-in-law did not receive a replacement. I contacted the company a second time. The company assured me a second time that it would send a replacement. It also said it would email me when the replacement was shipped. I received no email, and my mother-in-law never received a replacement. It appears to me that the company said it would send a replacement when it never had any intention of doing so. I think the customer service reps told me (twice) what they thought the company wanted me to hear. I think the company never had any intention of honoring its word and figured I would not follow up a third time. If the risk of damage during shipping and associated loss was on me, the company should have told me, rather than lying to me twice that it would send a replacement. I'd rather have the truth than be lied to.
I am particularly disappointed because I ordered through the 1-800-Flowers website with which Wolferman's is associated, I am a Passport member, and I order a lot of gifts through 1-800-Flowers. I will not order from Wolferman's again.
I ordered a dozen scones on 8/26
I ordered a dozen scones on 8/26. Two days before delivery I tried to track them but there was no information. They were not delivered on time. (9/1) I tried to contact Wolfermans a number of times and the wait time for a person was minimum 101 minutes. I wrote to the corporate offices and got no response. I disputed it with my credit card company. Sept 11l the scones arrived ......long after I wanted/needed them. They are fighting the dispute. Stupid people just lost a customer

Horrible service; no follow up
Ordered a special bundle for my Mom’s 93rd birthday. They missed the delivery date with no notice. Had to call to find out what went wrong. After 20 minutes they agreed to send it expedited. Next day received a note saying package no longer available- WHAT?????

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I placed an order to be delivered on Aug 11th. I got an email stating that it would be delayed on the 12th and that delivery would be on the 13th. That didn't happen. I then spoke to them and they said it would be the 20th, then emailed again stating it would be delivered on the 23rd. At that point which is the 15th I cancelled my order. I was to receive a credit of 103.48 but instead I have gotten one for 5.08, 4.32 & 14.19. How does that add up. I have reached out to them constantly. Not a good way to do business.
The worst bagels ever
I have ordered english muffins on other occasions, and have been pleased, although they are quite pricey. This time I decided to try their bagels. Absolutely awful! Poorest excuse for a bagel I have ever tried! Small with no real bagel texture at all. What are they thinking? Zero response from company when I expressed concern in writing. Obviously, no care for quality, and customer concerns.

Received a Birthday gift package and it was nothing like the others. I live in the desert and temps have been in the 115's or better an yet they sent they sent items that melt. Called and they said they would replace with non-melting items. WRONG! I get several gifts of muffins and other things and they have all been great but NOW NEVER AGAIN! I will inform my senders that this company is off the list of WANTS! A bun with 65 g of sugar and 780 calories is absolutely absurd!

“With Sympathy” packaging sent to 97-year-old instead of the “Happy Birthday” box I’d ordered
I ordered baked goods in a “Happy Birthday” gift box for my mother-in-law’s 97th birthday. She received it at her assisted living facility and when she opened it in front of her elderly friends, the box did not say “Happy Birthday,” it said “With Sympathy.” I contacted customer service and they offered to give me a 20% off coupon for my next order. Why would I give them MORE money after their extremely insulting mistake? They agreed to refund all of my money after I insisted that was the best solution, but when they sent me a confirmation email, my refund was for 18 cents. They then sent me more emails offering me a 20% off coupon as a resolution. I can’t believe this happened in the first place - it was a terribly sad experience for a 97-year-old - but to also have Wolferman’s follow-up resolutions go so wrong means I won’t order from them again.
Another botched Mother’s Day order
Another botched Mother’s Day order. Guaranteed delivery by then when I ordered and now will be at least early next week before it arrives. Highly doubtful the contents didn’t spoil. Very upset and will never order from them again.
Beware. Order not delivered
I ordered a Mothers Day basket to be delivered on the Friday before and contacted customer service on Thursday to make sure it was going to be delivered. Was told they couldn’t give me an exact time of delivery but would be there on or before Friday. Didn’t receive confirmation that it was delivered so contacted again and was told the order was on hold cause one or more items were out of stock. Totally unacceptable. Worst customer service. And this company is actually Harry and David. Will never use again. BEWARE!!!!
They screw up every order I’ve ever…
They screw up every order I’ve ever replaced with them. The call center is in the Philippines. It’s very hard to understand their employees. They sent the wrong things on the wrong dates To the wrong people. These people are so bad that I don’t know how they stay in business.
Something has happened there, quality has sunk
I have ordered from Wolferman's for myself and gifts over several years. As many of the elderlies have passed away, I didn't order for a couple of years and decided to treat myself. WTH has happened to them? Hot cross buns were overbaked, cranberry citrus muffins had no flavor or berries, am leary of trying the dinner rolls. Customer service has been very kind and prompt, but I don't think I want a replacement of anything. Will wait until they get their delicious foods up to snuff again.

The problem with wolferman's bakery was the gift basket. After 2 months the peach jam was moldy. The English muffins, three kinds I ate. They were okay. Not much better than Thomas's if at all, but they were fine. The peach jam molded and I called up customer service and they wanted to know my order number. Since it was a gift basket I didn't have the order number. They wouldn't help me. They said that the person making the order would have to get involved, which I was going to bother them about. So I cannot recommend wolferman's. They not only had bad jam, I have plenty of jam in the refrigerator that's lasted for a year, but on top of that they have lousy customer service.
Terrible Wolferman's muffins taste like cardboard.
Couple months ago I received a shipment of Wolfermans Bakery muffins. They tasted terrible. They were stale, dry, crumbly, smelled like chemicals and tasted like moldy cardboard. I called and complained so they sent me more cardboard. I called again and asked for waffles instead. Several weeks later I received more cardboard muffins. I read the ingredients on the package and it said it was made with bio-engineered ingredients.
UPDATE - Extremely Well Pleased
I just previously reported that Wolferman's has handled my order for the 3-Month Breakfast Club excellently and this is an update on the February delivery. All was delivered the second week of February by my relatives, all arrived in tip-top shape and they commented that the "muffins (12) received of different types are super wonderful and they bring one to work everyday and it makes for a lovely breakfast on-the-go" so I would say that rates a 5-star.
