Fool me once…

My wife and I used Wolferman’s for Christmas of 2020.
We sent several, maybe nine or 10 gift baskets to various friends.
There were some significant issues however for whatever reason we decided to try them again Christmas 21… due partly in fact because of the very convenient way that they will bring up with what you sent the previous year with all the addresses etc. are there.
This time it was even worse. In fact today is February 17, 2022 and I just received a text last night that a friend had received his Christmas gift….This is absolutely unforgivable. Lord only knows what other of our friends failed to get theirs as well? When I called to try and speak with somebody all I got was an agent working from their home. No way to get to a higher up in the organization. This is absolutely unforgivable and inexcusable. I would definitely not recommend this company i.e. Harry and David/Wolfermans to anybody for any reason

I bought a sympathy basket for a friend…

I bought a sympathy basket for a friend whose son passed from covid. When I ordered the basket online it was noted it would arrive by December 16. Still waiting delivery that now says it won’t arrive till December 26. In speaking with them they said there was nothing they could do. Now in looking at other reviews there are many who are not pleased with the product. Will not be buying from them again. NOWAY!

poor flavor

Muffins were delivered on time. However, they are either tasteless or had a strange flavor to them. I was very disappointed as they are associated with Harry and David, whose products are of good quality.

I ordered a basket on 11/24 to be delivered at a friends house on 12/17. She was having guest over on the 18th and wanted something extra. I thought ordering early was a good idea. WRONG as of today, it hasn’t even shipped and the produce is out of stock.

Online ordering a bust.

Couldn't find the item I wanted online -- clearly pictured in the mailed catalog I got 2 weeks back (promotions good thru 12/25/21). Despite using search feature, entering the item#, scrolling the whole dang site -- nothing. I didn't see a suitable alternative Christmas gift, plus a large selection of items are not available until after the new year - sometimes months after. Availability may be due to current shipping woes all over, so not necessarily their fault, but their catalog interface is their bailiwick.

Anyway -- while this would've been my 1st order with Wolfermans -- given the bad reviews for the muffins that would've been part of my order, plus the noted delivery problems -- I'll pass.

As Wolferman's parent co., Harry & David is responsible and should do a LOT better job of quality control. H & D used to have a stellar reputation, well-deserved. I am familiar with their service and products; I ordered gifts from them over the years, only stopping after shipping costs became too high to justify small gifts sent to several addresses. Also - my very first job using a computer was in Medford, handling Christmas orders at their call center in the late 80s. They were a good company to work for at the time.

Sounds like their customer service reps are mostly doing their best, but they have no control over consistent problems with catalog, delivery, or product quality.

While the product is awesome..

While the product is awesome... they have no idea how to ensure their product is delivered on or close to the requested date. Second year in a row that they screwed up my orders. HORRIBLE. You'd be better off buying your own item, baking a banana bread and shipping it yourself. Oh, don't bother to reach anyone on the phone, they don't know how to handle calls. Yesterday I was on the phone for over an hour. The staff is very professional and kind but it doesn't make things better when your gift is a week late...

First time Wolfermann's thick English…

First time Wolfermann's thick English Muffin purchaser. Order arrived a bit later than expected but intact. I ordered 9 different flavors. I have tried three of the flavors are all are thick and doughy and tasteless. All left a bad lingering after taste. Yuck. I tried the chat line and had to repeat myself three times giving the same info over again. I clicked out of the chat. Called customer service directly, explained the problem, received a refund, an apology, and a 20% off coupon for future purchase on a different product. Polite and helpful Ms. Kathy was. I feel better about Harry & David as a result of Ms. Kathy's care and concern. I will try again- just not English Muffins. One star is for the muffins- I'd give Ms. Kathy 5 stars.

Do not order from this company unless…

Do not order from this company unless you would like your product never to arrive. I placed an order to arrive anywhere between Nov 17 and 24. They chose the date of the 24th, when it had not been delivered by 5pm, I contacted them to be rest assured it will be there by days end. I contacted them again at 9pm, to be told it would be arriving two days later and after the holiday. The on Thanksgiving I received an email saying it would probably arrive by months end. Considering this is food and the reviews of wet bad English I am not expecting much from this product and and embarrassed of what the person receiving will think.

Frustrating experience with the Gift List

I have just had a truly awful shopping experience at wolferman’s.com. I have been using a gift list for years but this year I could not see the recipients in my cart, I kept getting multiple orders of products for the same recipients, and every address stored in my address book, including my own, was screwed up in some way and had to be corrected.

I became so frustrated that I submitted orders for each recipient in separate sessions.

This is the last time I will go through this experience.

Very disappointed☹

In my opinion, Wolferman's English Muffins are a fail for me. Took out my first muffin from the package & it was wet inside the plastic bag. All the bags were wet inside. These muffins fell apart removing them from the bag & after losing a few removing from the package, I put them in freezer bags to keep the ones I could salvage. Bays English Muffins are still my favorite😋

Had ordered a gift basket for mother's…

Had ordered a gift basket for mother's day and due to unexpected medical reasons she needed to travel to stay with me. I attempted to change the delivery address prior to shipment, however something went wrong and it ended up at her home with no one to receive it. Customer service was amazing and shipped out a replacement to my address so she could receive her gift. Great service and I'm sure great food. Will definitely recommend on the customer service alone.

Ordered the super thick English muffins…

Ordered the super thick English muffins for the first time. They are unlike any I've ever tasted-gummy, no flavor and bad after taste. The cherry had small bits of something resembling cherries but no flavor. And the sourdough left a horrible after taste. I am very disappointed. It took two weeks to get an order shipped. Sorry but I cannot recommend them.

Great products No Longer

After several years of wonderful products, I'm SO DISAPPOINTED. Ordered one of my favorites and a newer product. Both were awful! One was stale, the other not as described--not even close. I emailed and then called. Then called again. Nothing came out of my efforts. Shame on them, and on Harry and David, their associate. :(

Aside from non English speaking…

Aside from non English speaking customer service who cannot process a simple order to refund without putting me on hold 10 times/ I still have not got the refund . People do yourself a favor avoid this company and the other ones they own Harry And David etc. Total bogus company
