I like wolt because the shipping Time is not too much but a half mont ago the shipping Time was a lot. I use it a lot. The customer service is kind and helpful. The food Always good.

My delivery was canceled last minute by the first delivery driver. He or she waited several minutes then decided to cancel. I was told by Wolt that sometimes they accept deliveries by accident. I think this is unfair and unacceptable to paying customers. The food arrived ice cold. They gave me a 1,900 HUF credit. I paid over 9,000 HUF.

I used Wolt for long time there…

I used Wolt for long time the services become worse in coming years don’t chose Wolt go for other delivery app. The app has bug which cost me time and money and no food delivered they donot take accountability for this . And it is not once it happened twice

NO DELIVERY, NO REFUND

My order was never delivered, and Wolt refused to issue a refund despite clear evidence. Extremely disappointing experience — definitely not on the level of companies like Deliveroo. I strongly advise others to be cautious.

Been using wolt for years and each year the service gets worse and worse. The order can take up to 2 hours to deliver without counting time needed to prepare at the restaurant. Courriers can sit in one spot for ages and there's no accountability from the customer service, they'll send you robotic responses like "it'll be with you soon" seems like their mission is to waste people's time. Zero compensation after that even though they used to do it few years ago. I guess it's inconvenient to make customers happy

Wolt.hu Very disappointing (stay away)

This was a very disappointing experience. My order never arrived. I immediately contacted the courier via chat, but they never replied. The delivery included very clear and specific instructions (building, floor number, apartment, and entrance code), so it should not have been difficult to locate.

What made it worse is the customer service handling. My support ticket was closed as “resolved” without allowing me to provide any follow-up information, and I was denied a refund for an order I never received. I am extremely dissatisfied with the lack of accountability and communication. I expect that when food is not delivered, customers receive support — and their money back. I lost 10.000 ft. The tip for the delivery person included.

Expensive, cold food

We ordered from a restaurant 350 metres away because I had surgery two days ago. Forty minutes to arrive, cold. The restaurant, Sao, weren't interested, and blamed Wolt. Wolt doesn't seem to offer customer support (live chat not present). We paid a lot of money for cold food.

They don’t value their customers

I was a Wolt+ subscriber and had placed many orders over time. However, when I requested a refund for a small incorrect item (a croissant), they refused. This reflects poor customer service and disregard for customer loyalty. I’ve since cancelled my subscription and deleted the app. It’s clear they don’t value their customers.

Don't order from Wolt

I ordered a pizza through Wolt and was really disappointed. I had to wait two and a half hours for my food, which is completely unacceptable. When the pizza finally arrived, it was cold and definitely not fresh anymore.
This experience made it clear to me that I won’t be using this service again. I expected much better quality and delivery time from a modern food delivery app. Never again.

Worst delivery service ever used

I had a missed item and asked for a refund which is the fair thing to do considering the inconvenient. I got credit instead which I do not intend to use because, first, terrible service and, second, I do not know when I’m back in Hungary. Second attempt with costumer service when I explained I asked for refund and was guaranteed one but their assistant and I was told me they cannot help me. This is not about the money lost anymore but the principle. Worst delivery service ever used.

When everything works, it's great. But...

When everything works, it's great. But, lately, it's been a total meltdown.

Last Saturday (2/8/25), I placed an order for a delivery from a place less than a mile away. Halfway to my house, the guy marked my order as "delivered" and disappeared. I waited 15 minutes, giving him the benefit of doubt, but then contacted "customer service" when he didn't show up. Their response: Hang tight while we contact the courier. Then no update for almost an hour, despite it being obvious there was a serious problem with the delivery guy. He had vanished but they insisted they talk to him to ascertain what had happened. Only after I'd raised hell on Facebook and X did they relent and sent another guy to deliver the order, who proceeded to take forty minutes for a distance you can leisurely STROLL in ten.

Long story short: My food was delivered almost two hours late on a second attempt. I'm pretty sure the first order got eaten by the courier!

Then today (also a Saturday), I placed an order from a restaurant 3-4 miles away. Everything was going well until I noticed the counter stuck on 16-17 minutes for almost a half an hour and the rider situated several blocks away turning his transponder on and off. I emailed Wolt and my order finally got picked up. The rider then spent a good ten minutes at a small intersection a few hundred feet away from the restaurant before his signal vanished altogether. Cue another email to Wolt. He re-materialized ten minutes later but then stood at the same spot for more than five minutes. I I.M.d Wolt and the guy finally got to moving.

I eventually got my food 1-1/2 hours late.

I'd never had problems with Wolt deliveries before so I don't know what's going on. Maybe it's the Saturdays or maybe they've been hiring increasingly unreliable delivery personnel. It now seems to be a crapshoot how quickly you get your order, if you do at all.

Sad.

Ordered take away from wolt .
Food was inedible. Chicken obviously in hot lights for hours , chips were undercooked and soggy. Altogether disgusting and just sorry couldnt get the food tested for poidoning. So we complained.
Was offered refund or replacement of KFC order.
Opted for refund which we only received 10 euro of for a 53euro order. Eventually received a further 10 as a gift ....not acceptable

Most unprofessional customer service i have ever cone across. Balint with a chili im the name made me feel like i was in one of those racist restaurants that only serves white people. They do not care about you even if you are a subscription paying member. Obviously I am not anymore but it's insane to me how they can operate like this and not make changes with such low CSAT

Worst of all

First of all, I travel 3 countries per week and can say that Wolt-Hungary is the worst food courier I have ever experienced with the most disrespectful, unprofessional customer service I have ever witnessed.
The last time I visited Budapest, I ordered food by midnight, but the delivery man didn't find the address. So he simply went back with the order and reported that the food was delivered. I contacted Wolt Hungary and had a chat with the most disrespectful racist employee named Tomi who simply told me that the delivery wouldn't be repeated and i that wouldn't get any refund. By 4 am I was still trying to explain to this Tomi guy why I should get a refund or at least my order until I got upset and threatened to sue Wolt in a court of law for a lot of money and guess what, I got my refund after that. I simply deleted the app after that and installed Foodora. When I checked online and saw the huge number of people experiencing the same thing, I decided to start making a documentary about that which I plan to premier either on Netflix, Amazon Prime, or Apple TV. Contact me via office at david onka dot net if you have terrible experiences with these food courier services to be part of the documentary. Sometimes we need to take changes into our own hands.
