I have only just begun using Wonder Ink (one week in) and so far I have had a positive experience. The dashboard is pretty intuitive and curriculum was robust.

Meaningful and Developmentally Appropriate

I love that WonderInk focuses on God, draws the whole Gospel message out of every Bible story, and uses Bible stories that are not always used. The actual Bible story is told in engaging ways that keep the attention of my little preschoolers, and I love the 3-5 minute videos because they don't take too much time but I can use them to retell the story I just told so that my kids get to hear the message twice to really drive it home. I love WonderInk!

Not Developmentally Appropriate & Too Harsh

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share some feedback on the current curriculum. It seems that the materials for the 2 and 3-year-old age group might be more advanced than what is developmentally appropriate for them. The videos contain a lot of text that the children are not able to read yet, and the concepts may be beyond their understanding.

Additionally, the curriculum appears to focus more on themes of sin and wickedness rather than emphasizing God’s love, which recent research suggests is crucial for this age group. I believe a shift towards highlighting God’s love could be more beneficial and aligned with developmental needs.

Thank you for considering this feedback. I appreciate your dedication to providing quality education and look forward to any updates or adjustments you may make.

Reply from Wonder Ink

Thank you for your feedback, Diane. Are you referring to My Life Can Tell of God’s Wonder series? Or is this another series?
For My Life Can Tell of God’s Wonder, it is a review of the fourth core value of Wonder Ink: I am a child of God so my life can tell of God’s wonder. This lesson teaches kids about the gospel and what it means to follow Jesus. It means we get to be a part of His family. The Wonder Truth was God Invites Us into His Family. In the lesson story section, we begin with talking about how God created everything, and created humans in His own image. We talk about how every person, whether the person knows it or not, was created by God for a purpose. God created humans to be like a reflection always pointing back to God. Before we can join God’s family, we have to know what keeps us from a relationship with God, how sin—the wrong that we do—gets in the way. Then we talk about how we can’t be freed from sin on our own and we need a rescuer, and God sent one! God put His plan in action, and He sent Jesus to earth. When a person trusts Jesus as Savior and becomes a child of
God, the Holy Spirit goes into that person’s heart. Just like joining a human family comes with good things, joining God’s family does too! God’s children look forward to eternal life in the future. That means someday we will get to be with God forever. For this series, there is only one video for all ages currently. However, in the remaining series of year three, there is a separate video for early childhood. The editorial team does take a different approach for each video series. We look forward to hearing how you enjoy future series! If you have any further questions or would like to talk with our team, please email us at hi@wonderink.org

Wonder Ink is a welcome addition to our children's ministry.

Speaking with Cherith has been a wonderful experience! She was extremely helpful as she guided me through the lessons and all the resources. She answered all my questions concisely, and it was a pleasure to chat with her. Thanks to Cherith and her patience, I am excited to launch our first lesson with Wonder Ink the first week of August 2024!

They do a great job of presenting a good gospel message as well as activities for the kids to have fun! Great conversation questions are included and the web portal for editing is incredible!!

My only complaint would be that when printing from their editing portal the line breaks mess up the printing. There are work arounds but they create some extra steps

Highly recommend!

I love it. My volunteers love it. It's so user friendly and sharing the lessons with my volunteers has become so simple! We also love that it's very scripture/Gospel centered. My favorite part is the call and response.

Great customer service

Great customer service, kids are engaged, both digital and paper copies for volunteers. Love the communication with parents and volunteers, Wonder at home gives families time to replay what the lesson was about.

So user friendly!

This curriculum is so user friendly for all of our teacher from toddlers to elementary. I love that we can import our own songs and that as admin I can curate what stays in the lesson and what we might not be able to leave in the lesson.
I would like to be able to have the verses in ESV as that is what our church uses and I would like to see a cohesiveness there but that would probably be the only reason I did not give it 5 stars.

Good Experience

The way the curriculum is constructed makes it very easy to create a lesson. I enjoy the tutorial videos to help guide you through Wonder Ink. I also enjoy the way Wonder Ink emphasizes the Holy Spirit.
I do find a lag in service at the 9:00 hour, I was wondering if that was because of the volume of usage?

One thing I found difficult was downloading the lessons without accidentally choosing the wrong lesson. Could you please write the series to which each lesson belongs in the title. It may be just that I'm not very good at computers.
