Agreed to take a damaged item when delivered to showroom due to time constraints.
Was told a partial refund would be sorted.
Partial refund morphed into an credit note which I explained was of little use due to living two hours from the Rugby shop…
Emailed and been ignored …
Disappointing and can therefore not recommended this company unfortunately.
Update - the issue was resolved and the refund processed, many thanks for restoring my faith in the company.

I bought the Krono Appalachian flooring on sale earlier this year. We had to wait until we were actually fitting it which was delayed due to personal circumstances. My husband started fitting it a couple of days ago so I'm happy to make a review.

My husband says as somebody who has never fitted a floor before, and isn't particularly DIY oriented, fitting it is easy. The hardest part is the mental gymnastics of working out a continuing pattern throughout the floor we're fitting it, the cutting etc (I got him a contour gauge to make it easier and it's really helped).

The floor itself is beautiful and feels like it's such good quality. When I first priced this it was £2,400 just at United Carpets and Beds, so goodness knows how much it was elsewhere. I looked around and found it at Wood2u for £1,200. We weren't ready for it yet, but the when we finally were, it was on sale and we did the whole floor, three rooms and a hall, for a little over £600. I'm delighted with the floor, and the cost.

A little advice for anyone choosing this floor, the edges are slightly bevelled to give a deliberately natural look meaning the lines between boards are pronounced. The feel of the floor is gorgeous on bare feet. I don't know how they did it, but it doesn't feel like most laminate floors to me. It has a slightly wood feel which has an inherent warmth that wood floors tend to have, warming quickly under the feet, whereas laminate tends to stay feeling cold.

Seeing the floor take shape is a pleasure, I can't wait until it's finished.

Tip: watch lots of YouTube videos on laminate floor fittin before starting if a first timer planning on fitting yourself. My husband is doing a fantastic job with no previous experience because he watched videos for a month before starting.

great service. fast delivery. only downside was the delivery cost which was £30 if I remember correctly. this would of been fine if I purchased multiple packs but as I needed only 1 I found it quite expensive. but I was desperate and didn't have time to collect. 10/10 service and we'll packed for delivery.
