I love Wood and Wire. Highly professional, friendly, caring, considerate and with really imaginative and bespoke design advice and ideas. They’re great makers who care hugely about the quality of their work. I love their design aesthetic. Can’t recommend them highly enough.

So please with our kitchen which is suberb. The guys at woodandwire were brilliant, patient, and helpful throughout and the carpentey expertise excellent. Really very please with whole experience.

We were looking to fit out a new kitchen extension, knocking through smaller rooms to make an open plan kitchen/diner. We had a fair idea of what we wanted in the space and the layout, but were really stuck on what style of units would work. Most of what saw looked boring, prissy or pretentious.
We had spotted a firm down south in a magazine making units using plywood and laminate and liked the look. A bit of online research led us to Wood and Wire not too far away. We contacted them and Jim suggested a trip to Hebden Bridge to see their stuff. The shop was being refitted after the floods, so we were taken to see Tim’s kitchen. We were impressed. So together we started detailed plans for fitting out our kitchen, and choosing surfaces, colours, tops, appliances. This went back and forth with valued advice, suggestions and redesigns, visits both ways, leading to our final masterplan. All this done with the greatest of patience and humour from the team in Yorkshire.
The team, and a large van arrived and within days it was all in place. The team fitted it all out with astonishing care and craftsmanship. It’s obvious that they are very proud of their work. It was stunning, looking so good and working well. Better than we could have dreamed, and it still is a delight to work and hang about in. It has changed the way we use our home, and, I suppose, changed us.
So, we think Wood and Wire are rather good!

I recently had a kitchen designed and installed by Wood & Wire. The whole process was expertly handled and managed. There were so many choices to make but Jim and his colleagues were patient and informative talking us through each stage of the process. The fitting was undertaken by craftsmen who were meticulous, tidy and charming. Wood & Wire clearly set themselves exacting standards and they met them at every stage right through to the fitting and after sales service. If you want a bog standard kitchen go elsewhere if you want a bespoke service to your individual specification I would recommend you use Wood & Wire.

From our first contact right through to aftercare we can do nothing other than praise the service, support and attention to detail from Wood and Wire. The finished product is a beautiful, bespoke kitchen. We went with our own ideas and the team helped us to build on these and create a reality better than we imagined.

Wood & Wire designed, made and fitted a walk-in wardrobe for us, including a sliding door entrance with wooden veneer panelling. We have been very impressed with the quality of the work and the dedication and friendliness of the fitters.

I would recommend Wood & Wire without any hesitation. My kitchen looks absolutely beautiful. Every detail is perfect and the cabinets sit so comfortably in the space. I had originally been attracted by the colourful kitchens I'd seen online, but ended up going for a very classic mix of oak and white cabinets. Sam was incredibly patient with me, taking time to help me realise the look I had in my head and suggesting design elements that have brought a real sense of style to what might have otherwise been a very 'safe' design. It also works beautifully, with doors, drawers and pull-out units that glide perfectly. Jim, the fitter, was friendly, polite, tidy and took such care to make sure every fitting was perfect. It was really exciting to come home each night to see all the details reveal themselves (and to smell the freshly cut wood!). I'm loving cooking, socialising and living in the space now - it's my dream kitchen and it brings me joy everyday!

I wanted a bespoke order made and sent out to me by courier. Wood and Wire were very helpful and efficient. My order came in a plywood crate to avoid damage. Really pleased with the product.

Well designed, quality product that was delivered earlier than expected.

Had wardrobe doors and drawer fronts replaced. Excellent workmanship. 4 stars given because from first contact to completion took a long time partly due to attention to detail on their behalf but well worth the wait.

We are very, very happy with our new kitchen. Everyone at Wood&Wire demonstrated the patience of a saint as we worked through the finishes, colours, layout and options. Everything is bespoke, to the millimetre, so the configurations, colours and options are literally endless.

The end-result is aesthetically beautiful, but also much more practically effective than its predecessor. We seem to have somehow ended up with more floor space, more cupboard space, more ovens and bigger appliances, a bigger sink, and a deeper worktop – it all works together and is easier to use.

Speakers and the Dyson, previously screwed to the wall, now nestle snugly inside made-to-measure spaces. The lighting, integrated into the units, is stunning.

Installation took some time, but the installers, led by Ben, were great, easy to have in the house and went to no end of trouble to make sure everything was right – even to the extent of crafting some skirting board to match.

We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Jim, Tim and all at Wood&Wire.
