Appalling customer care!

My husband won a voucher for 2 people to play a round of golf at this course. Unfortunately, due to several serious family health issues he was not able to take up the voucher by the expiry date-31/12/24.
I contacted them to explain all this and asked if it could be extended. I got a one-line answer which was:
Sorry your voucher is no longer valid for 2025.
I replied saying that I was appalled at this very unhelpful, uncompassionate reply, assuring them that I would certainly be leaving a review.
I could not believe how rude Lorna Scott, who calls herself the Guest Experience Champion, was in her response.
So I’m afraid I will never be recommending this golf club, with its unhelpful staff, to anyone 😡😡

Already planning a return trip!

We stayed in Riverbeds for our anniversary trip this year and it was just perfect. It’s dog friendly, so we took the pooch and he had an amazing time. Plenty of walks straight from the lodge door and great dog friendly places to eat within walking distance. The doggy care package was a lovely touch! We even bought him his own bathrobe from reception so he wouldn’t feel left out.

The staff were so friendly and the woman on reception gave us some great ideas for things to do on one of the days where it was raining. We hired e-bikes one morning which was just fantastic. There’s a cycle track that doesn’t go near the main road which was perfect for me as I’m not confident on the road. We cycled to a nearby hotel for a coffee and it was a beautiful track which hugged the coast and gave fantastic views.

The lodge itself was small but had everything you needed. The bed was so comfy and we’ve even ended up buying the same pillows for our bed at home because we loved them so much! Hot tub was to die for. We loved having a fire to cuddle around when the nights got cold. Such a special experience. We will be back!

Seabeds Woodlands Glencoe

5star We live Woodlands and can’t wait to go back. It really is a back to nature experience with added luxuries, they have thought about everything you need during your visit, on arrival we had hand made cookies, snacks and a lovely bottle of Prosecco on chill for us. We added a fire pit which was lovely to sit outside in the hot tub chilling and star gazing. All the staff are so friendly, they stay in the background but there when you need them.
