This is a great piece of kit - when it works...

I had mine for 6 months when the PCB in the motor packed up a week ago. This is now a well known problem with these motors and for this reason JessEm discontinued them on 1 December 2025.

JessEm continue to supply replacement PCBs and indeed I received two from this morning. It is now working once more but for how long? They cannot guarantee to have sufficient PCBs to keep the motors going for many years. Essentially the motor will be redundant soon. However - read on: 15/04/26

Happy ending as Woodworkers Workshop have arranged with JessEm that they will exchange current motor for an 'all Canadian' made one once they become available next year and will make sure that I am not without a working motor meantime.

Living in New Zealand I am very reluctant to make significant purchases offshore. Go to shop for my woodworking. Great range of products and i have been happy with all so far, milescraft circular jig, drill block, beautiful 4inch square i use far more than i ever expected, the list goes on. Good delivery, well packaged and one issue with one part of my order sorted without fuss.

Needed a Milescraft Drillmate Pro for a specific project. Could only find two places in UK that sold it at reasonable price, Wood Workers Workshop was one. Website was easy to use and delivery timely. Fabulous shop, detailed descriptions and information resource all in the same place.

I have a fantastic experience every time I shop there. Extensive range of tools, including one of my favourite over-the-pond brands, JessEm, which, as far as I know, is represented here by WWW only. Silly thing to mention, but the packaging is next level — very secure, sturdy boxes, never had any even slight dents in them. I had a problem with only one of the many items I bought from them, and it was a manufacturing defect that the lovely people at Wood Workers Workshop promptly replaced. Delivery is fast, trackable, and reliable. Customer support is excellent (yes, Andy, I’m talking about you here, haha). Very competitive prices, frequent generous offers, and I guess, the only email subscription I keep because it’s always on point — no generic stuff or spam. All in all, it’s a great shop with people who care about quality products, their customers, and ultimately, woodworking.

Placed an order last Friday, 16th Jan, and got an immediate response regarding an out of stock item. I'd ordered enough items for free postage. I was told that once item was back in stock they will process my order. Items posted late on Monday, 19th Jan, and arrived, very well wrapped, on Weds 21st Jan.

Excellent service placed order which was eligible for free shipping and it arrived next day and was extremely well packed every thing I ordered was of very high quality I was kept informed of the status of my order and given tracking number that worked. I received an email from the owner of the company thanking me for order which was a nice touch I will definitely be shopping there again. One small criticism you do get quite a lot of marketing emails 27 in 3 weeks in fact, of course you can opt out of receiving them but then you miss out on the discount deals.

Excellent website, very reasonable prices and quick delivery make this a no-brainer for future tool purchases.
The packaging is something to behold: it took me a full 10 minutes to get into the Milescraft Track Saw Guide - the Milescraft Drill Mate Pro was slightly less of a challenge.
I'm getting on a bit now so I need as much assistance as possible with the small number of projects I take on. These 2 products will ensure that my cuts are straight and my holes are properly aligned. My son will no doubt gain more benefit when I 'no longer need them'....
