Had Worcester Bosch in 2021 to replace…

Had Worcester Bosch in 2021 to replace my very old boiler. i overlooked warranty was out of date (sadly due to family bereavement) but In the past, I would normally have been reminded of this, but nothing from Worcester Bosch giving any warning. This year lately, i noticed my boiler seemed to take ages for hot water to come through but, because boiler is located in separate garage, I thought this could be normal. 2 days ago, no hot water at all. It had been annually serviced 4 weeks prior to the date, no concerns raised by the service engineer. Suddenly 2 days ago, no hot water & boiler panel showing ERR code on panel. Called service engineer company back, diagnosed with gas valve & ignition fault, quote for £385. My insurance covers ‘Home Emergency’ but with £300 excess, so not bothering to claim. Not happy - we are pensioners ! Emailed Worcester Bosch for their comments - mentioning gas valve & igntion replacement required after 4 years - no reply !!

Wouldn’t touch Bosch boiler with a barge pole

Bought a Bosch boiler 6 years ago for a new apartment always had Bosch Worcester boiler after one year we had to call them out as it was under guarantee the came and sorted it the leak then it was 1 month out of the 5 year guarantee and the same thing happened again so we had to so we ended up paying £250 for them to come out and repair it again 14 months down the line it’s happened again the pump had split this time it was going to cost £299 to repair so in just over 6 years I’ve had to have them out 3 times 😱😱they are not interested in doing anything about it they couldn’t even reply to my last email just sent me my options which was pay £59 a month so I got a new boiler with another company I wouldn’t have a Bosch boiler if they gave me a free one can’t believe a company like this would leave pensioners like this

Failure, totally ! 10 yr warranty ?

Three years ago I had a new boiler and full plumbing installation using one of there recommend engineers from there web site. Costing several thousand ££. The boiler was installed easy but the guy made a total mess of the required, new connecting hot water plumbing. This cost me another £1000 to correct. Bosch said there responsibility was for the boiler installation only. Any work required attached to the boiler by there plumber/engineer is not covered. I'v had the boiler serviced now every year by Bosch as the 10 yr warranty requires. 2020, Called Bosh to make an appointment. Waited 20 minuets for an answer. A very nice person answered. I was given a date, time and a job number. 10/10 so far. I asked how to pay. was told it's free, but as you ask, well sorry no it's not. I wait. I'm then told sorry Worcester Bosch is no longer taking service appointments at the moment. You have to go to a Bosch trained recommended engineer. I'm given 3 names and phone numbers of service engineers. I tried all, not one answered. The problem is I paid Bosch extra for a 10 year warranty installation, but no annual service and the warranty is void ! Bosch do not do services ? This is one for " Which " rating as well. Tell me how do you give a date, time and job number for a service you no longer do. What I was told is warranty repairs are free, but no service no warranty repair ! That's a cracking warranty. Important all this appointment call was recorded by Bosch. UPDATE !! 1hr later i'v just had a text massage confirming my service date and time for the ( none existent appointment) the the person said could not be made as Bosch no longer does services . Its getting crazier !

Our 3 year old boiler is goosed

Our 3 year old boiler is goosed, rusty with broken valves.
I thought these things were meant to last years but if you miss a service then Worcester will charge you a lot of money just to come and look at it.
Shameful.
