Workday relies on an outdated software…

Workday relies on an outdated software infrastructure that struggles to perform basic modern execution tasks. The platform's recommendation engines lack mature reasoning algorithms, and its document generation framework is prone to persistent formatting and alignment failures even on simple layouts. It needs a complete architectural overhaul to match modern standards and execution models.

Outdated technology and full of bugs

I'm writing this review as a job applicant.
I would seriously give them a -1 if I could! why is workday the only recruitment website that can't pickup my employment history from my CV? The process of applying through workday is very inefficient and cumbersome. I seriously have no clue why so many banks use them. Come on workday, you can do better than this! Oh and I remember some many time when applying for Citi roles where I get broken links. The role is still live but when you click on apply it cannot find page

Poor user experience

We went from an in-house employee time management system which was specifically designed over the years for our language, workflow and ease of use and user experience. The generic web-based approach, and apparent lack of design to our application makes applying for a day off for whatever reason at least a dozen clicks. That might be a client implementation detail, but when there is not button, menu, or interaction to delete a notification that has been in my notification in box for over 30 days-- that smells like AI coding or someone who has never had to design an application for paying customers. I hate that my company switched to Workday.

Weird why companies still using this

You must create an entirely new account and password for every single company you apply is inefficient, Dropdown menus are often rigid, lacking search functions, the only reason why companies keep using it despite these heavy candidate drop-off rates because it heavily discounts their enterprise software bundle, prioritizing procurement cost-cutting over candidate experience. I never hate or rate bad a software like this

Most hated payroll/HR system in history

It has been 2 years since implementation of Workday and it could not be a bigger disaster. 17 grievances were filed at the 6 month mark as all numbers for time off and tax were non-existent, inaccurate (certainly), or suspect. A year later and nothing has been addressed to satisfaction and union action to force-stop usage is being suggested by members. The HR function has completely failed middle management and an HR person has been hired full-time to deal with all of the issues that have arisen since inception. This system appears to be completely unworkable, and unsalvageable. There is little to no support and the workarounds in place are extremely complex and counterintuitive. Worst payroll/HR system ever worldwide. This is a positive spin.

Workday is the pinnacle of trash

Whenever I'm applying for a job and I see Workday I'm already pissed off.

No matter how good my day was going, no matter how great life may be, seeing anything related to Workday pisses me off. By far the worst job searching related product on the market, bar none. A shining example of the failures of capitalism that such a shitty subpar product is still in existence. I pray every night that this company goes under.

You should know without me describing in detail why this product is absolute garbage.

Garbage

To make it worse they now placed Check out and Meal on the bottom of the screen, as iPhone user every time when I swipe up to get off of the page I am activating one of them and waisting my time to punch correction. TAKE IT OFF, put the hyperlinks in the middle of the screen!!!

Worst software system ever

The Workday, without a doubt, the worst I’ve ever used in my entire life. It’s incredibly difficult to navigate, and it lacks many essential functionalities. Even the existing ones are hidden away in multiple layers, making it nearly impossible to find what you need.

Nothing works

Nothing works. Every time I try to sign in, it makes me use a new sign in method and create a new password. I now have three sign in methods for the same account, and none of those methods work.

It is absolutely the worse job platform…

It is absolutely the worse job platform I have ever used. It is so time-consuming and just a waste of effort on the States part. It will truly discourage anyone from wanting to apply for positions if they have to use it. I can't believe it actually got an approval for implementation from anyone. It must have been a blind sign approval. The "job description" section is a joke leaving no clear sight of what you have entered or edit provision. There are so many things wrong with this Workday fiasco.

I'm a painter in Edinburgh

I'm a painter in Edinburgh. They said there are a lot of people looking for painters in Edinburgh. I believed them, signed up, and gave them my bank details. I canceled my account, but they keep withdrawing money from my account, or trying to. Don't believe them, it's definitely a scam company.
