I just watched a documentary about workers family....didgusting, modern day slavery!!!

TERRIBLE COMPANY! Just saw the documentary! Be careful!

Just saw the documentary on them. Look it up on YouTube its scary. Don't get yourself into a dangerous situation you can't get out of. There seems to be a lot of people approached to give them positive reviews too, shameful.

Absolutely shocking and false advertisement. The accommodation is disgusting and the documentary says it all it’s all true.

Awful. Do not use these if working abroad. Sort your accommodation and a job out beforehand. I went in summer of 2023 to Aiya Napa.
Had to pay money around £150 when I got there for deposit and bedding etc. This was never mentioned or in the contract.
Upon arrivals there were 6 beds in a room with which had two small rooms. I ei one bedroom with 3 mattress, a kitchen with a bunk bed and one mattress and a bathroom. It was unsafe as the door didn’t lock, the window was smashed and anyone could climb through, random people were going in and out of rooms so we had to padlock all of our belongings. You’d leave the room and there was human faeces smeared all over the wall. It’s a huge health and safety concern. There was bed bugs, ants, the floors were slippy and the mattresses were stained and unhygienic. Words cannot describe how bad it was.
I then went to work there. I worked for around and week and decided to go home because it was a shithole. I was selling tickets for aqua. Before leaving I asked for my wages and they said you can’t have them because you’re leaving. Looking back I should have questioned this. Baring in mind the amount you earned was very little. Be careful if you go there, they take advantage of young people, offer you unliveable accommodation and do not respond to complaints and maintenance.

Reps all sell drugs don’t care about you when your there and take massive advantage of the money you pay to be there embarrassment of a company

It was advertised to be an amazing summer with lovely accommodation and experiences however it is not what I signed up for at all. We were told we were gonna be picked up at the airport and I had to get a coach free of charge but then got dropped off in the middle of the strip with nowhere to go none of the wraps answered for around two hours and we waited in the reception of a random hotel until one of them answered and even then we were then waiting at the workers family HQ for over eight hours to then be provided with a three bedroom that ended up having four people in it with single beds just mattresses we had unhygienic and clean bedsheets and mattresses. There was mould and blood on the walls we had cockroaches. Our windows were broken. Our shower was broken so is our sink and our toilet. Any cabinets we had or facilities we had we all broken and uncared for.
We were only given one key card between the four of us girls so a lot of us were constantly locked out having to call reps to come let us in as they had keys to our room so we weren’t allowed one each for some reason. Our Aircon didn’t work half the time and when it did we were having to pay extortionate amount of money to keep it on in the weather conditions we wanted it on all the time so it became very expensive. We were promised a great experience in jobs and we were given days and times to go on trials and meet people for jobs and the money ratio to the working hours were very unfair and it was daylight robbery and you were most likely going to get €30 for at least a 10 hour shift. Even at that half the time you wouldn’t even get paid for your shift or you would have to hunt down the person who promised you the money and at least needs to go through five people to get to that person. If you’re thinking that you don’t care, I just wanna have a good summer and you don’t care what happens and you just wanna be young that’s exactly what I thought and ended up having one of the worst three weeks of my life I was supposed to be out there for eight weeks and came back five weeks early.
As I wasn’t making any money had spent majority on just deposits and food water and supplies that weren’t provided for us like promised in our room. Do not book with this company they create false advertisement and give you this whole dream that will not be provided. They will just take advantage and take your money and then make you feel bad about it.

I have been approached by this company specifically to help give them better reviews so their website gets more reviews. 'The negativity is harming business'. Im afraid judging by your practices and documentrÿ you aren't doing yourselves any favour.

Scam artists, do not allow your children anywhere near these scammers

You are working illegally for them, you must be a fool to go work for these people. Just go watch Channel 4 documentary on them... complete scam.

SCAMMMMMM !!! 3 years later I’m paying for something that was never even real . The man that gave me the “job” was seedy and unprofessional. They knew I was young and vulnerable . And fed me a load of lies . I set up a payment plan . I was told people would contact me about the holiday ect . No one did ! I was added into a fake Facebook group chat full of robots . . I’m now having to pay this .

Honestly Feel Scammed – Nothing Like What They Promised

I feel completely let down by this company. They make working abroad sound like a dream — professional setup, full support, smooth transition — but the reality couldn’t be further from that. From the moment I signed up, communication was a mess, details kept changing, and the “support” they promised barely existed once they had my money!

I was put in a room with 5 people no air con broken sinks, seat, beds no sheets or curtains no mirrors,plates,forks AND broken door lock, we were not safe at all or our belongings… I got attacked in the room by a grown man and I messaged the reps about it and they completely ignored me !!! This is all such a scam please please please don’t waste your money and time it’s not worth it I promise! I’m still gobsmacked about it all and what a waste of £1200 I gave them… we waited 6 hours to get into our accommodation because they were that unorganised. There was also cockroaches and bed bugs everywhere all over the apartments in every room. Also black mould all over the floor walls and shower. There was even black bits coming through the water . We had to shower at the beach. And brush our teeth with water from bottles we bought from the store.

Doing a season abroad with Workers Family is a such an experience. We met so many amazing people and it was the best month we could have wished for. Amo was a great help the entire time, and it was reassuring knowing that any point throughout our stay we could reach out to him or Kyle and they’d both do whatever they can to help us out. Amo also made the extra effort to check on us throughout our stay to make sure everything was okay and that and making the most of our time there. We would do this all over again in a heartbeat.

i booked 7 months before my season started, never got any information about the transfers or accommodation. the day before i was supposed to start my month abroad it i got an email cancelling it. this was over a month ago now.. in the email it said that my money would be refunded to the account i paid with but i have been refunded absolutely nothing. this is absolutely unfair as now im at a loss of £600 for no reason. i have reached out by email, number, the reps and website multiple times over the past month, yet no one has replied and given me my refund, i am honestly shocked at this treatment and am still waiting for all my money back.

I came out by myself and made so many memories and friends. Check in was a little slow but apart from that the first week we done all of the events and Amo, Kyle and Kiarra were always around. I worked at the events and was able to have a laugh with the other workers. I had a great time and looking forward to next summer.

this is my first season abroad, it was made easy from start to finish due to kya and mason my two lovely reps they were both dedicated to making me and my friends comfortable and fit in easy, altogether the experience of a life time

5 stars only because of Welshie / Corrie. We had someone who worked our accommodation block but they never really checked on except for him. He had his own accommodation block but went out of his way to check on ours. He was the only one that checked on me when I was severely sun burned and had heat stroke. He even offered to take me to the doctor if I had gotten any worse. As someone in the hospitality industry I know how important it is to make sure each and every standard is met and he went above and beyond for me. I would only ever return if he was still a rep here.

Absolutely Disgusting –FALSE ADVERTISING

I paid £800 for a month’s accommodation and was absolutely shocked at what we got. The room was filthy – there was mould on the walls, dirt everywhere, and it clearly hadn’t been properly cleaned… There were no curtains, we had a broken sink/toilet seat. The place felt completely neglected and uninhabitable.

I wasn’t expecting a 5 star hotel but I expected basic living standards for the amount I paid, but this was far below even that. No one should be charging that kind of money for such poor conditions. It’s a complete waste of money, and I strongly advise anyone considering this company to look elsewhere. We also did not feel safe at all they claim to be there for us 24/7 but when we contact them about serious concerns or problems we won’t get a reply for a day or more!!

We also got told all the reps would help us with a job which states on the documents and the advertising and they didn’t help us AT ALL we had to go look for our own jobs. Me and my friends also waited 5 hours outside with our luggage to get a room we didn’t get one until 3am.

Oh and you also get charged a €150 euro fee when you arrive LOL
NEVER AGAIN!!
