Very fast response by support, with a team that is flexible and customer friendly!

Not only is this a fantastic suite of world building tools, but the dedicated team who work behind the scenes have service which is second to none. You can clearly see this a passion project executed with the deepest level of care for the TTRPG community and writes alike.

Responded and corrected bug. Took a little under 24 hours, which is rather fast in all honesty!

I have been using World Anvil for the past 4 years now. The platform is always getting better, with new updates and incredible support for Gamemasters. I cannot even understand how I was able to build my world without it before.

This product and the people behind it are absolutely outstanding.

This is incredible. This is the sort of thing I wish I'd had ten years ago. It's like a custom Wikipedia maker combined with a custom map maker and a multilayered timeline. On top of the incredibly smooth integration of those components, you have full DnD support and a toolset for writers, both of which I'm in the process of learning. This is incredible

Really poor website. The programming is so lay that it will cause issues for you as a costumer. Definately not gonna give them any more money when their service is as it is.

Amazing Customer service. They come across as understanding, warm and welcoming. I always get the help I need and I always feel like I am a valued customer

Excellent set of tools, continuous improvements, great community and learning tools. I had a billing issue, but was quickly able to have it resolved and was compensated fairly for the hassle.

I've been using World Anvil since 2020 and it's been an amazing experience. Not only are there constantly new additions and features on the site, the community that has built around it is so warm and caring. Highly recommend it.

Excited to see where World Anvil takes my new world.

I love this platform. It has nearly everything you would need to create a whole new world. The layout is simple and helps to keep your ideas in order using categories and subcategories. I love that you can add maps, pictures, etc and share your world with others. I also love how much you can share, or how little in case you want to keep a few secrets.

My only real regret is my lack of time. I wish I had the time necessary to use this platform as it is so amazing.

But what about the staff? Excellent! Very informative, helpful and polite.

I think the service itself is great, but the third party they use for account access on the back end could be improved.

Definitely be careful when updating your card info as you may be auto charged before you are ready to push it through.

Although I have cancelled my subscription as I've not used it enough, it was a great product when I was making use of it.

The discounted trial was a great price but I'm not quite using it enough to justify the full price. If you use the trial, make sure to cancel the renewal or set a reminder as they won't warn you your subscription is going to renew.

This is my main feedback, be more up front about renewals and you'll save a lot of hassle for both your customers and yourselves.

I hope to have time to use the product in the future, and I really hope for billing to be more transparent by then, that would make this review 5 stars.

I’ve been a member of W.A. since 2019.

They created the site for writers and game masters; and as a writer, I use the site as the bible for the stories I’m working on. Everything I need for storing data regarding a story is right there on the site, plus so much more. They (the owners of W.A.) thought of so much more than I ever considered for a story-bible. Noting that the options offered on the site have even given me ideas for my stories.

On the other end of things, their customer service and support have been nothing less than excellent for me. They were quick to reply to emails and also reachable on their Discord channel. In addition, the members who hang out on Discord are also available sources of information for any help you might need. I’ve had all positive experiences here.

So, I’ll leave you with this final thought: If you are a writer or game master, the site is worth checking out because it offers so much more than I can cover in this review. Once there, you'll promptly see how the site can assist your workflow or game-flow.

I use World Anvil for writing science and fantasy fiction and keeping a record of all my ideas, articles, maps, etc. The software is first class, suiting my needs as both a writer and world builder. It has a fantastic, supportive community that offers help and advice. Their support team is always exceptionally helpful and efficient. Overall, given the functionality and quality of the system/software as well as the customer support, the price I pay is exceptional value for money.

Very quick and responsive service - Especially on a holiday (Thanksgiving). I wasn't expecting that. :-) Appreciate the extension of lower pricing into next year due to the issue! Thak you again!

Excellent service, perfect for building my new world!

My work is in making participatory theatre akin to LARP. I use World Anvil to share information with participants, supporting them in the process of participating and also facilitating actual participation.

The platform is designed in such a way that it allows us all to feel part of a community, which is the underlying intention in all of my work.

It is so beautfully, thoughtfully, and comprehensively designed, and it is so user-friendly, that it has become a key central hub of my work, which is hugely important for the global nature of my audience.

It's also so designer-friendly! I'm no expert, but with a little help from the incredibly supportive Discord community of World Anvil folk, it's extremely easy for me to set up a site the way I need it to work, and share it with the people I need to reach.

I genuinely don't know what I would do without it.
