If you need an audiologist who knows what he's doing, Gabriel is your man.
He took great care in assessing my husband John's hearing loss and explained all about it and the fact that the aids he has been wearing for years were not the best for his type of loss! At least we knew why he was having such a struggle to hear! Gabriel was kind and considerate throughout and John enjoyed a laugh and a joke with him.
The end result is John now has a new brand of hearing aids that are working really well for him, with the added bonus that they cost less than the previous ones. It was very definitely worth the time and effort to travel to Worthing and we would highly recommend Gabriel and Worthing Hearing Care.
My right hand Phonak Infinity Sphere hearing aid, supplied last year by the brilliant Gabriel at Worthing Hearing Care, suddenly stopped working due to a rapid drain of its battery (they normally last for two days).
Despite being the day before Good Friday and even though they were fully booked for appointments on the day, he was so concerned that I wouldn't have my hearing aids over Easter that he managed to squeeze me in with his colleague, Danielle.
That was fantastic customer service, because now I know there's another excellent Audiologist to help me out in the future!
Danielle worked through the issue carefully, as we both thought that the hearing aid battery itself must faulty (they are nearly 1 year old) but with the evidence of how they performed when a new receiver (the little loudspeaker that fits in your ear) was attached, coupled with what the Phonak iOS app was showing as it's battery level, we deduced that the problem was actually in the original receiver itself - which is apparently rather unusual. So it got replaced, saving me another visit whilst the hearing aid itself was serviced by the manufacturer.
So, despite being her last client of the day before her Easter break, Danielle completely sorted out my problem with my new hearing aid receiver and I went home a very happy chap.
This is why you should visit Gabriel at Worthing Hearing Care: great products, excellent aftercare and customer service for the product's lifespan. Well done, Danielle!
I went to Worthing Hearing Care after discovering the hearing aids I wanted were nearly half the price of the nearest competitor. Little did I know that their customer service is second to none and Daniella was absolutely brilliant. She was patient with me, explained the whole procedure and I felt very relaxed in her company.
Even though Daniella knew before I walked through the door that I was in the market for the Otican Intent One, there was no pressure, in fact I think she was surprised I didn’t take up the offer of a trial period.
On the way out I met Gabriel, her business partner and he was extremely pleasant too.
I wholeheartedly recommend Daniella to anyone needing a hearing assessment.
I have been very impressed with the service and support I have received in recent weeks from Danielle.
A very friendly and professional individual where nothing was too much trouble.
Prior to purchase I was permitted to trial two different brands of hearing aids with absolutely no pressure or obligation whatsoever. I even experienced a live remote adjustment on video call to make the comparison as useful as possible.
In addition to the excellent service the price of my eventual purchase was exceptionally competitive too.
Gabriel at Worthing Hearing Care is absolutely brilliant, nothing was too much trouble.
Extremely knowledgeable & professional, a real find.
I would definitely recommend him to anybody looking for genuine advice and support.
Professional, reasonably priced first rate company, prepared to spend all the time needed to ensure that you are 100% satisfied
I have been wearing NHS hearing aids for some years and over time I have found them them to be struggling to help me in social situations particularly with lots of background noise.
So decision made to try and find something better I looked at many options before deciding on trying Worthing Hearing Care and this was based on their open competitive pricing, independent, able to supply from a broad range of leading manufacturers and great reviews.
Gabriel is friendly, professional and very knowledgeable, he spent a lot of time doing tests and fitting a demo pair of aids that clearly showed what I had been missing with my old hearing aids.
I left with the loan of both his recomended hearing aids and a tv streaming adaptor which he said would allow me to listen to the tv which I have not been able to do without the help of subtitles to fill in all the missing bits!!
Both the hearing aids and the tv adaptor have been fantastic and I am hopefull that my follow up visits for fine tuning of the hearing aids will continue to improve my experience.
Yes I will definitely recomend this company!
I don't know where to begin in writing a glowing recommendation for this company.
Introductory meeting - Perfect. A thorough hearing test with every step explained and no clock watching. Gabriel was happy to take as long as was needed.
The recommendation - Perfect. A range of options at different prices were put to me, but with no hard sell. Nor were there any more subtle sales techniques used on me. Just a soundly based professional recommendation which I was free to take or leave.
The option I selected - Perfect. Gabriel took great care to fine tune the hearing aids to my exact requirements. Thereafter it was a life-changer. And if it hadn't been perfect in day to day use I knew that I could take it back for a refund or for more fine tuning. But it was perfect in real life, and so no need to take Gabriel up on his offer.
Aftercare - Perfect. I have recently been back one year after purchasing my hearing aids and was politely reminded that I should come back more regularly to have my hearing re-tested and to fine tune my hearing aids (for which there was no charge.) It makes a change from some businesses who take your money and then leave you on your own.
A great service from a top-class professional.
My only regret is that it's taken me a year to tell others how great this business is.
Gabriel @ Worthing Hearing Care is very professional, caring and friendly. I brought my hearing aids from him after a thorough test, there was no pressure into purchasing them. He talked me through how they would improve my hearing I had every confidence in what he was saying. I go regularly to have my ear wax removed.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Gabriel 100%, he's one of the good guys.
Having identified the Oticon Intent 1 as the ideal solution to my recently advised need to acquire hearing aids, I did some shopping around as the price I was quoted by the centre where I had my hearing test seemed excessive. There were numerous alternatives, many at an even higher cost, until I came across Worthing Hearing Care. A much more competitive price and outstanding reviews prompted me to make an appointment. Any scepticism I might have had about the significantly lower price was allayed once I'd met met Gabriel, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional; I understood his business model. After another hearing test (just to check/calibrate my original test), a thorough consultation, and an extensive review of the product (no hard sell), I bought the aids there and then. Gabriel takes a personal interest in his clients and offers excellent ongoing care and support (without further charge). I have every confidence in the long term care and support he will provide. I have no hesitation in giving my 100% recommendation.
My wife found this company after I had paid double the price for Oticon Intent hearing aids at another national chain. I sent those back, got my money back and went to see Gabriel at Worthing Hearing Care.
I found him exceptionally professional. He clearly enjoys what he does and is always smiling.
He did a wax removal and took the moulds for my left ear all at the same time. The initial visit was an hour compared to the half hour at the national chain where wax removal would have been performed by someone other than the audiologist at a subsequent appointment.
I have since had two other appointments. Gabriel is a perfectionist and wants to get the best result. The cost of these appointments and the follow up annual appointments was included in the price for the hearing aids.
Gabriel clearly cares about his customers, is very engaging and a great professional. I live over 100 miles from him but would go nowhere else for my hearing needs.
