What a awful company i bought a shed for £106.00 i tried to down load 3 times their voucher it kept saying item out of stock try again later.. i tried 3 times then on the 4th day voucher said out of date

An Absolute Nightmare,
Purchases a bed and mattress, I was advised by text late on a Friday that delivery would be the following Monday between 1pm - 4pm, tried to message and call the delivery company to reschedule due to the short notice but no response, arranged the day off work last minute, but they never came until after 6pm. Point blank refused to take my items up to the my 3rd floor - left everything just inside the main door. The Delivery Driver was dragging the headboard and Ottoman, scraping along the ground when he took them out of the van and left it at the flat main door, I Had to ask a neighbour to watch over the items while I drove to get my brother to help me carry it all up to the flat. Then the issues really started.
The Ottoman and headboard are both severely marked and damaged, one of the feet at the bottom of the bed is buckled, the 'mattress' - I wouldn't even call it that - is flimsy, has zero support whatsoever in it and my knee just falls through it never mind my body so absolutely no use at all.
I've never known anything like this ever and I have been shopping online for over 30 years.
Over £350 spent, a day off used up and all complete rubbish that I won't use, it's a absolute waste of time and money and as a first time user of Wowcher I will not be buying anything from them again. Ever.

DO NOT USE WOWCHER. Customer service is non-existent. Ordered and exchanged my voucher in November 2025. Emma mattress received no order from Wowcher and also contacted Wowcher on my behalf, to no avail. No mattress, no refund, no credit. No correspondence whatsoever. Wowcher is an absolute scam.

I have bought a bed through a Wowcher merchant. The bed is broken the draws do not open and shut correctly. The mattress is too big for the bed base, I have asked for a full refund several times and am bypassed every time. All pictures and videos of the broken bed have been send in months ago, but still ongoing for my refund. I have been to trading standards and next will be court. October I purchased this bed and made a complained the following day once all assembled. Still today 4 months down the line I am no further with Erither Wowcher or the merchant

It was my first time ordering.i am a 75 year old lady not very good with technology. I ordered a scrub machine for kitchen floor price was good £14-99 .I didn't understand what this voucher thing was that they kept going in about. Ordered on the 5th January never received my item .but they took my money out of my account. Nightmare and A Terrible Waste of Time
I had never used Wowcher before but I responded to a pop up ad for a computer program. Wowcher's website doesn't explain how it's it's business model work so actually buying something (with a voucher from a third party seller) is nightmarish.
Actually getting my software from a third party Dutch company whose website kept reverting back to Dutch language every time I clicked my mouse was another nightmare,
Wowcher also offered a discounted price if I took out a 14 day trial membership which I accepted when I placed my order. Now I find there is now way on my account to cancel that subscription, no email address, no phone number and no contact form just a useless chatbot on a WhatsApp number.

Paid €300 for a February hotel break (Order #50629039). Turns out they issued a voucher I never saw—emails went to spam. Voucher expired, no refund, no help (only a chatbot, no email contact!). Wowcher took my money, won’t give the hotel stay even though booking is not until February, won’t refund. Absolute scam. Stay away!

Hello. Margaret, I not am asking you to ‘refund my order’ can you please kindly tell me where you have got this information?
I got not response.
I then sent a message 20 minutes later (below) and still no response. This is so frustrating when I’ve tried to get this issue of them taking my payment twice for 1 set of goods. They just can’t grasp my point after 20 reviews and over 40 Whatapp messages! I have consumer rights and will need to take this up with a legal team if my refund is not paid back to me. I have all the messages as proof that Wowcher is not responding to the issue I am explaining, it’s like they are responding to another customer’s message. Absolutely disgusting that they can treat customers this way.
My last WhatsApp message -
I paid 39.98 for those goods on the 15th Nov because I hadn’t redeemed the voucher in time you then gave me a credit of the 39.98
I then reordered the goods on 16th Dec, selected to use the credit then I don’t know what happened to your website but it took the money from my card again which was stored with you (51.97). It should have only the delivery charge of 11.99 but it took 11.99 AND the 39.98 again. So to date I have paid 2 lots of 39.98 when I should have only paid 1 39.98 and delivery of 11.99. I have ordered one lots of goods and received 1 lot of goods, but paid two lots of 39.98.
Wowcher - please do not reply to this message to say - you have the goods they can’t be refunded! Or you have a credit to spend! I want the 2nd payment refunded back to my card what you took from me. I have ordered 1 set of goods totalling 39.98 plus 11.99 delivery but you have taken 39.98 for the goods then another 51.97 when you should have only taken 11.99 for the delivery because your website should have used the 39.98 credit where I selected it. In short I’ve paid 91.95 when I should have only paid 51.97. I can’t spell it out any plainer or simpler than this .

AVOID - THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE SCAM - IMPORTANT READ
- Paid for a new mattress in Nov. 2025
- Notified Emma Sleep Co. of an issue with it a few weeks after.
- They tried every which way to make the process an absolute nightmare, refusing to collect and refund, despite their so called 200 night no risk trial and hassle free return if you're not happy. This is complete and utter nonsense, yet this is their company line - “You don't have to worry about when you can return your Emma mattresses, we have for now extended our risk-free trial from 100 to 200 nights.” Clearly, that’s a downright lie.
- They will do anything to ensure their products are not returned.
I was asked to submit photos of the mattress & issue, I did so and was told the following:
"I understand that you feel the photographs already provided should be sufficient, and know your viewpoint regarding the process so far. I would like to provide some clarity on our assessment criteria to ensure we are as helpful as possible in resolving this for you.
Based on the photos currently provided, we would unfortunately have to reject the claim at this stage. According to our Terms and Conditions, which you can reference here (website), specific criteria must be met for a warranty claim regarding indentations.
As stated in Term No. 19, under 19.3 (B):
The indentation must be greater than 2.5 cm and visible to the naked eye.
This is why we kindly ask you to measure the dip using a ruler and a straight edge as previously described. Without this specific measurement to verify the depth, we are unable to proceed with the claim under our policy guidelines. I truly apologise for any disappointment this may cause, but we require this evidence to ensure a fair and accurate assessment for you."
So you see, it isn't that simple or straight forward. I don't want their mattress, and they don't want to take it back.
It's a farce. What about 200 night risk free trial!? It clearly doesn’t apply yet I only have the mattress a few weeks.
I purchased this mattress in good faith through Living Social and this is my experience. It's been absolutely appalling. I have since ordered a new mattress from Bed World, I sent them proof of this also.
I have discarded the defective mattress and have told them not to contact me again. I don’t have the time or patience to deal with them any longer.
I don't recommend getting involved with Emma Sleep Co., whether that be directly or through another retailer. If you have an issue with your mattress, you'll be stuck with it. Be warned
