Appliance Direct, I ordered a microwave from this site and the item was showing in stock, the delivery date was for the 22 December but without any notice this company pushed the date back to the 27 December. I rang customer services and had to wait 17 minutes at a high cost charge before being answered , the customer support gave me cause to question which country the Company was working out of, he refused to answer but I am sure they were not in the UK and I therefore question whether they work within the Sales of Goods Act. I cancelled the order and will not ever deal with them again.
bait-and-switch practice
I recently traveled with Exoticca to South America. I had a good experience with them and wrote a very nice review about the company.
However, I am writing again because of its bait-and-switch practice. In the emails received from Exoticca, I have noticed that their supposed travel deals are none nonexistent on their website. I got lucky with them on my first trip. I got the price advertised. But not so ever since.
I called them last week to check on a sales deal advertised by them. It states the percentage discounted and price starting "from". It directs you to their website. Once on there, the advertised price is nowhere to be found. I have checked various months, to no avail. The price shown is double or triple what it advertises. I mentioned this deceptive practice of misleading advertisement. The agent attempted to explain it to me to no avail. Unlike other travel agencies, I go to their sites and easily find their advertised prices. They mention availability at that price, date, and everything necessary to purchase the deal. Not Exoticca.
I'm truly disappointed with the company and will no longer do business with them due to the lack of transparency.
Openreach
On the 28th of November I was driving to work, being told the day before where I work had filed for administration. I was driving at a safe distance and below the speed limit when an Openreach transit van slammed his breaks on, the road was Icey and I had no where to go but hit him. The driver in front of witness go straight out the van and said sorry, he admitted full and explain that the van in front of him had suddenly stopped. The van starting the incident did stop but then drove off. The Openreach person was very apologetic and checked I was okay given I was a little shaky from the shock. There was no damage to his van, however by bumper had split, we exchanged numbers and he agreed to get in touch reference the next steps. He text me later in the day and asked for pictures and explained they would be in touch to fix my car. I heard nothing so text and asked him for his managers number, I then spoke to lady who again was helpful. I was told they needed to discuss internally and again would be in touch. Another week passed and nothing so I called again, there was no answer so I left a voicemail. The following the lady left me a message explaining that I was not to contact Openreach and that I now needed to contact my insurance company. I have spoken to my insurance company who have explained Openreach are claiming for damage to the van, again there was no damage, it was only my car. Again the driver accepted full responsibility, however I am now being told they are claiming against me? Surely this is not right there was no damage? To sort my car, I have now lost my no claims and have to pay £450 excess, for something that the Openreach driver admitted was his fault. I am so frustrated and disappointed that a company like Openreach would do this, given I have no job I now have to find the excess money.

Global Asset Portfolio is an unregulated financial services that promises much but never deliver. You invest monies in the company and they promised to pay you but they didn't. They send you emails that make absolutely no sense. The give you dates as to when Payment will be made and they never come to fruition. This company is manage by one Steve Wright and his associate.
Here an example of one of the many emails that has sent out by this company. Let me state that I am a third party investor waiting on funds since 2022. I plan to make an official report to the various public bodies to investigate this company operations

Dear Introducer,
This is a short update regarding the progress of the funds transfer into the Paymaster account and the outward payment to clients.
The first tranche of funds has been sent to the paymaster and will be received this afternoon, remain in the paymaster account for 24 hours then sent to GAP Monday. These will remain in the account for 24 hours so funds will be distributed Tuesday onwards and through next week.
The second payment will be sent from the Trade Entity next Tuesday 7th November 2023 and be available for distribution Thursday 9th November 2023 onwards next week.
The third and final payment, which will fulfil the complete funds owed under the terms of our contract with the Trade Entity will be sent week commencing 20th November 2023.
We will have cleared all funds back to lenders by the end of November 2023.
During December we will announce a new Loan program which will be FCA regulated in readiness for the New Year.

I tried to go from Lyca mobile to TESCO mobile,with a PAC code on the 9th of November was told it would be up and running on the 10th of November.
It is now the 25th of November and still waiting for the PAC code to be enabled.
I have had no communication from the TESCO'S iT people dealing with this matter to explain the problem.
This is causing lots of PROBLEMS with my banking and people urgently trying to contact me.

I wouldn't say I like to write negative reviews. However, if I believe that I must, I Will. I bought a cat house from Amazon, which cost £99.00. It was for a stray cat I found in my garden. I just wanted to ensure the cat was safe and warm in the cold weather as it was scared, and I did not wish the foxes would hurt it. The cat got caught in the door of the cat house and screamed in pain, and it was clearly not for the cat. I did review the positive sale comments. Unfortunately, it was a danger to the stray cat I was trying to save. I contacted Amazon, and they said to return it; I told them it was so large that I could not bear in mind that it had been delivered.
I was told the company would pick it up, and Amazone arranged for the company to collect it and informed me that this would be done as they would contact the company, and the company would respond to me within 48 hours and refund me. Did it happen? Oh no. I called them again, and they said they would refund me, which never happened. Then they sent me an email and said they sent an email to the company to collect the house, and they had 48 hours to call me. Did they call NO? I spoke to them again, and they said customer service would contact me with a refund. I then received an email from customer services saying we sent you an email, and under our policy, you should have responded within three days. Seeing that you did not, we cancelled your request for a refund. Did I see the email? Well, sorry, my sister died, so emails were not on my mind, and anyway, they promised to refund me. I am aware that company policy is not the same as legal requirements. Well, they can do what they want. After all, I am a small fish in the sea.
I am too tired. I am dealing with my sister's death, so I think they can KEEP THE MONEY. I will put the cat house in the dam bin; I am not prepared to endanger a cat. Amazon is not honest and is a bully. When you buy their products, they do not mind taking your money; when you must return their products, it is a different story. SHAME ON YOU, AMAZON!!!!!!!!!!
