I had to return a laptop battery though they shipped several batteries in the past. That was a good reason for me to look for an alternative service companies or ship from amazon directly.

Frauds, Be careful

Be careful

These people are frauds who trap customers. Once the item goes to them then your shipment is trapped and you are their mercy. Either let them discard the shipment or use their shopping. I tried to live chat many times but no response. I emailed them and they resounded after two days.

Beware of this company. Instead use Aramex Shop & Ship and they are very reliable.

Fake Insurance and No Refund!

I shipped a package with value $617 and paid shipment fees $117 including insurance. The package was lost and probably due to WS1 employee mistake. They didn't refund yet anything since May 2019 and they keep throwing the problem on the insurance company didn't not refund yet!!. I paid insurance for WS1 and I don't care what in the back end is happening. I should get refund from WS1 and not waiting your damn process to end. Advice stay away from them!!

Items are stolen and damaged

Items are stolen and damaged. Tried to contact the customer service, keep lying to my face saying items came in separately. When I tried to send her a screen shot for the order details and tracking number, she said goodbye and close the chat window. The phone can never get through. Reported a few problems, they said will look into it and get back to me with an email. However, never heard from them again. Also they tried to blame the carrier for it, the packaging box is perfect and damaged free.

Rip off

You need to be very careful dealing with WS1. My package actual weight was 23lb DHL weight says 30lb WS1 charged me for 43lb. absolute under their mercy. They claim it is because of the size which is a 100% a lie the boxes are regular size and below is their explanation which makes no since how can a 23lb equal 78lb size wise using regular size boxes. for me I am canceling the account and calling my credit card. Shame on you, it is your lose not mine Leanna Lampkin (WS1) Mar 6, 3:58 PM EST . I hope you are well. What I mean by the dimensional weight is how big the order is, actual weight is how heavy or light the order is. You were charged based on how large the order is, which is 43 pounds. How we provide you with this number is that we multiply Length x width x height and divide that number by 166. For example in your order it was packaged in 2 boxes. The first box dimensions are 18x18x15 and the second box's dimension are 25x10x8. For the first box when we multiply 18x18x15 which is 4,860 you divide that number by 166 and the total is 30 for dimensional weight for that box. For the second box 25x10x8 would equal 2,000 you divide that by 166 which will give you the dimensional weight of 13. When you add the 2 dimensional weights together: 30+13 that will give you the total of 43 pounds in dimensional weight. I hope I explained this and this was clear enough for you. If you have any further questions or concerns please feel free to contact me

No Money Back for damaged items!

Bad service! I received my item damaged and 40 days late. WS1 claimed that the damage was not done by them, LIE! DO NOT use them, you'll never get your money back from their Claims Department if your items received damaged.

A hit and a big miss.

WS1 was recommended to me by a friend. I have used them for about 6 shipments so far. i must say i am not satisfied at all with their service. and here's why:

1. You have to pay to use the service.

2. Customer service is very bad. I believe they are counting on their customers running out of patience and just giving up. They will take long to respond and sometimes will blow you off completely.

3. Their "live chat" operators are not helpful at all. One of them once shut the chat abruptly when he/she couldn't help me, claiming that i "did not respond".

4. Their time estimations are not accurate at all. they will take an eternity to prepare a shipment, and another eternity to ship it out after you pay for it.

5. They will not forward your shipment to another U.S. address if there is a problem. you either pay what they ask or lose your shipment.

6. They sometimes use oversized boxes -"smart packing"- and then use volumetric weight "to save you money". They have increased my 10LB shipment to 15LB by "smart packing" -- not very smart, if you ask me.

Needless to say, I am very upset with their service, and will not be using it again. I only hope this can save someone else the headache of dealing with this company.

Good, widen service area?

I used to deal with WS1 to get my packages forwarded from the US to my home. I've had an excellent experience re-consolidating and forwarding packages for me. I dealt with them since they were Worldship1 until now with more that 8 smooth re-consolidated shipments; all of them went perfectly. Unfortunately, there economical services are limited for the middle east, so when I moved I'd to deal with another service provider. I hope they will widen there service area soon.
