A quick and efficient turnaround on a report. Had some issues to start but promptly resolved!
Great customer service, very quick to resolve any issues and informative.
Stupid site wanted me to change password then suspended my account what a load of garbage

Total scam credits/money for searching when you can search for free beforehand and then when they do give results and you spend another credit/money to view there’s literally no info on record.

I am most grateful to the person that dealt with with my enquiry to 192.com today, about 'Copies of Searches'. Firstly they were informative, turns out I did searches without Fully reading and understanding the information provided i.e. Download Copies of your Searches. I didn't and I then of course left myself with no record of those searches, 'presuming' they would be saved; read the advise before sending.
My mistake completely. On my enquiry I was emailed information about 'downloading' my searches by 192.com and given Credit for my error, instead of a slap on the wrist. That was very kind of 192.com and not at all expected. That is First Class Service in my book.
Put in a specific address and it comes out with every other one. I got diverted through to a different site through 192 which thankfully was only £3 but got nothing back. The cheaper scams people don’t report but I will be!

Needed to track someone down and 192 came in very useful. Slight issue with the credits but was easily and quickly dealt with by a fab customer service representative (Matt)
updated 29/10/24
192.com apologised for the fact the messaging that credits will expire was not visible when purchasing via mobile browser. Credits have been re-applied for a year as a gesture of goodwill.
Credits expired before fully used
Purchased 100 credits for £50 and it was not clear that these would only last for 6 months. The only place you find that information is in the invoice.
There is no reason to force an expiry other than for greed.
Will be issuing a chargeback if the funds are not returned or credits reinstated with no expiry.
I paid £19.14 for some basic electoral register information and it each time it said I needed an advance search - which I did using up the credits and it produced nothing. I then found the information for free!

So went on 192.com yesterday and used the site to search names at locations with no restriction or logging in. All it gives you for free is the name and all of them at the postcode you provide or city..
You want more information you have to pay £20 for 6 credits, so i paid.. I viewed the one name i picked and used a credit. Now to go back to search which without registering is free, now i have to spend 1 credit just to search. And now today my password no longer works, and i press for new password use email verification and it still doesn't recognise the password no matter how many times i change it. I'm just picking random 8 letter words now like love1234 or hello987 etc they all get succesfully changed but still wont log me in.. total scam

I've used these a couple of times and not only do they charge a fortune for checks, you can't navigate back to them in your history to see them again and the other issue is, they would literally charge you a credit to sneeze! They don't save cookies properly because if you click on the same search result you have already used a credit for, it will deduct a credit yet again. It is daylight robbery.

I’ve googled my family’s names to check our digital footprint - tell me why this company is sharing our postcodes with anyone who so much as googles our names?! Seriously dangerous for so many reasons! Take it down, I don’t permiss this.

I haven’t used 192.com so I’ve given 3 stars which I think is fair, I ALWAYS check with Trustpilot before making a purchase, I suggest all you one star reviewers do the same in future. Needless to say I won’t be using this company.
Utter scam. Data is over 20 years out of date. It claims to have up to date info but has data so old it is of no use whatsoever.
Searches for a specific address will also show completely different streets to use up credits.
This business needs shut down. They are nothing more than scammers.
Edit: The reply is not helpful. If someone web searches they are shown green ticks against persons living at addresses. This gives the impression that information is current. Instead, the green tick may have been dead for a decade or more. This is to get people to hand over money - only to be fooled. If the information held is out of date, then update your own info and show a red cross against the address.

Not satisfied at all, by this service, £22 for 6 searches, previous searches are not saved so you have to research again to check info. Details held look out of date, not much information but will try to tempt you to spend your credits on irrelevant info. Searched myself and could not find me despite living in the area for over 40yrs! Waste of money.

Great customer service, sorted out very efficiently.
Thank you
I did a mess sending a wrong email address, but my problem could be solved friendly and rapidly after a short email exchange.
Matt was very helpful and used discretion to re-instate 4 elapsed credits on my account
It was great because my account had been suspended some time ago but I needed access quickly. I sent an email and they replied immediately and told me what to do. Exceedingly quick service, thank you. Also there is a lot more information available in the site than there was before.
I clicked on the wrong person when doing a search, and it used up my background report which I'd just paid £19 for. I emailed 192.com, and they immediately refunded me so I could try it again. It's an expensive search, but it got me the information I needed which I am really grateful for!
