I bought some 6mm aluminium plate, great quality with no surface scratches. Great value for T6 alloy and was packaged safely.
I ordered the item before noon on Thursday and it was here the next day, fantastic service. I would highly recommend and will certainly use again.

Exactly what we needed. As described on website. What we weren't prepared for was the excellent service we ordered a 800 x 500 aluminium checker plate it arrived two days later packaged perfectly. The price was the cheapest we had found after two days of research and expected the kind of service that usually comes with cheap, we are extremely pleased to say we were wrong and wrong in a big way. We can only give 5 stars but wish we could give more. Just a last thought the delivery was by parcel force and not one of the less reliable delivery companies out there, so an even bigger surprise.

I have now placed several orders with first choice metals.

Prices are extremely reasonable and having cuts made to size prior to delivery makes life so much easier. Orders are delivered securely packaged and extremely fast.

Small stainless pieces ordered, cut on some kind of guillotine and therefore very deformed and twisted. Completely unusable. Emailed and got a reply to tell me it's due to internal stresses in the sheet and all cutting will resulting twisting (nonsense, it's because agricultural cutting equipment was used) with no apology or anything else. I wasn't going to write a review but after completely dismissing me they had the cheek to ask for one.

Having since ordered elsewhere and received perfectly flat cuts I can say with confidence that it's perfectly possible to cut stainless sheet without twisting and distorting it.

Great service good product and comunications

I made 2 DVD shelves and wanted metal end plates, quick search, few options. Checked the reviews and 1stChoice stood out. Entered what I wanted - 3mm aluminium, noticed they offered a cutting service! have no facilities here to cut metal neatly. Gave them the sizes: 4pc at 230mm x 160mm, they arrived a couple of days later ready to drill and fit! Perfect!
