When we built our house several years ago, 1st Folding stood out for the ease of doing business with and completing a great job. That experience was backed up by a recent after care call out, when they were excellent. They promptly agreed the work to be done and addressed some further issues they identified. Very professional.

Very responsive, professional and friendly. Everyone we've dealt with at 1st Folding has been excellent, including Jenny on the service desk and Daniel and John the engineers, who did a great job on our damaged skylight.

This is an absolutely amazing company. We've had 6 bifold doors installed with them at various properties so far, and we are so happy with them. Many years later, they still honour their warranty and send an engineer to fix any problems promptly.
We had Daniel carrying out a service yesterday for a couple of our doors because they weren't closing very well, he went above and beyond to make sure they work perfectly again.

I brought some sliding doors over six years ago. The wheels on the door needed replacing. Under the 10 year warranty, there were replaced free of charge.

Thank you to Dan and Jenny on a baking hot Sunday afternoon who replaced a broken gearbox and fitted a new handle free as part of our ten year warranty.

We are just a few months short of our warranty expiring, but on ringing to say our folding door had malfunctioned we were asked if it meant our home wasn't secure, and when we confirmed, we were offered a next day call out. New parts for our 10 year old doors didn't fit the older model, so a complete new gearbox was sourced and fitted at the weekend.

Dan and Jenny were efficient, polite, and working on a baking hot Sunday to offer outstanding customer service. We are very grateful, and can't rate First Folding Sliding Doors highly enough. They confirmed that they expected our doors to last 25 years, and even after the warranty expires they will come out and fix the doors for the call out and cost of parts. This is an excellent company, who keep their word.

We had two sets of bifold doors fitted some years back and have always loved the finished slimline look and quality of the folding doors. Recently one of the glass panes broke and needed to be replaced.

I was delighted with the efficiency of Jenny in sorting out the replacement glass & arranging a fitting time.

The same again with the professional manner that Dan carried out the work, going out of his way to make thing as easy as possible. it was self evident that he takes pride in his work and doing it all with a smile. gr8 job

I have got installed 3 skylights and I have been impressed by the quality of the product and workmanship of the installation team. Marcus is a top man and gave me the best quote and as promised skylights were installed with in 3 weeks time. I was kept fully informed during the whole process. Installers did an amazing job and tidy up all their rubbish after finishing the installation. I would recommend this company without hesitation.

We had gone into this needing new sliding doors, following a poor installation from another company.
Thank you for your attitude on the phone calls I had with you prior to the installation - it was a very stressful run up to the day, with the previous company, and you were very helpful and reassuring.
The fitting team were polite and helpful, and we are very happy with the job they have done. We are also impressed with the attention to detail on the doors, for example, painting the silver screws black.

We were looking to get sliding doors with Crittall effect bars installed and a roof light.

We were dealing with a really unhelpful person, who we found particularly rude and felt they were condescending to my wife.

We had the quote in place and were ready to press the button to proceed, however getting any sort of detailed information, for us to allow the builders to proceed, was extremely difficult.

Upon saying we were potentially going to have to look else where we were told we were sending threatening emails.

The up shot is we didn't feel safe/comfortable enough to spend money with 1st folding and decided to go with another company.

****As an update here they are now threatening legal action for a negative review.

I guess you never know how good your choice of bifold company was until a few years down the road when something goes wrong.

So 5 years in and I’ve got a gap between the door and frame and cold air blowing in. After a call to the office and agreeing an appointment time a guy turns up 1st thing this morning.

After a few minutes he diagnosed the problem as a broken hinge and shrunken seal. 1/2 hour later he’s replaced the hinge and sorted the seal, he also replaced the handle which had a dodgy spring. All under warranty.

Totally amazing service.

I am so pleased I went this company.

The engineer visited to check on a small problem with our sliding doors - really decent chap - managed to fix on the day and left doors in fully working order - great service!

We’ve just had our second glazing installation completed on our kitchen extension, both with 1st Folding Sliding Doors, and are so happy we went with this company.
Yan and his colleague installed our glass roof and sliding doors, and then the husband and wife installation team visited this week, to install our heritage French doors, and a fixed window and heritage single door.
Both teams were brilliant. The quality of the fitting exceptional (so much so my builder commented that the work was the best he had seen in years) and we are so happy with the result.
Special thanks to the husband and wife team, who visited on Sunday to make sure we had the job finished as soon as possible. They were super friendly and exceptionally professional. A real credit to the company.

We are now 8 years into our 10 year guarantee and over those years we have had great service. Recently, we had a locking mechanism problem and whilst solving the problem, the engineer pointed out that one of our hinges had a crack and we hadn't noticed. A new hinge has now been fitted as part of the guarantee and a thorough cleanout of the door was done as well. Excellent customer service from a very good company.

I had Bifold doors installed back in 2015. Recently I has a problem locking the door. I phoned up and a repair was organized by a very helpful Zaineb. The repair man, Paul did a great job. I have no hesitation in recommending 1st Folding Door. They sell because of their service.

Super doors and great customer service, even 7 years after install. Recently, we had an issue with the doors and 1st Folding were good to their word under the 10-year guarantee as they repaired the issue with no quibbles, no cost to us and with no delay. We would definitely recommend to others and use again if needing new doors.

Great service! We had Bifold's installed last year, and 1st Folding gave us great advice in terms of choosing the product that was right for us. Delivery and installation was quick and easy, even
mid pandemic. We had a slight issue a year on where the lead door was sticking, due to the extension settling. But 1st Folding came back to adjust and fix the issue within a few days of contacting them. Would definitely recommend!

1st Folding Sliding Doors are a very good business. They really know what they are doing, supply great products, great people, and will service installations if and when needed. Really recommend.
