Des administrateurs merveilleux, des enseignants merveilleux
Je suis assez heureux d'avoir eu l'opportunité d'étudier à 3WA.
[[Je tiens à préciser que j'ai été directement accepté dans le cours de "concepteur développeur d'applications" pour mon alternance après un examen d'entrée, avec l'aide de 3WA j'ai rapidement trouvé mon alternance et j'ai passé un très bon moment avec une équipe très accueillante, et par la suite j'ai pu accepter un poste très agréable en tant que développeur backend au sein d'une grande entreprise. Autrement dit, j'ai eu beaucoup, beaucoup de chance à chaque étape du processus, et il n'est donc pas étonnant que je ressorte de cette expérience avec un sentiment positif.]]
Ce que je peux dire qui est vraiment indépendant du résultat, c'est que le personnel enseignant et administratif a été très, très, très patient et serviable avec moi. Le français n'est pas ma langue maternelle et, surtout au début du programme, j'ai vraiment eu du mal à communiquer. Tout le monde a été très accommodant avec moi alors que je trébuchais souvent sur mes mots et ne devais pas faire beaucoup de sens. Tout au long des 15 mois environ, j'ai rencontré plusieurs problèmes administratifs plutôt curieux, complexes et souvent urgents (ce n'était d'ailleurs pas la faute de 3WA) liés à ma résidence, des changements à mon contrat, des changements à mon cursus, des changements à la date de fin de mon alternance, ..., et à chaque étape, l'équipe administrative était là pour moi. Je leur suis vraiment très reconnaissant.
J'ai également beaucoup apprécié le programme en lui-même. Le personnel enseignant du programme CDA était exceptionnellement amical, extrêmement serviable, très patient (surtout en ce qui concerne le français...), et évidemment très compétent. Cependant, je remettrais en question la maxime de l'école selon laquelle "90% de pratique, 10% de théorie", car j'aurais aimé parler beaucoup plus de la théorie des architectures et des bases de données en particulier, mais je comprends qu'on ne puisse pas tout inclure dans un programme.
Des administrateurs merveilleux, des enseignants merveilleux. J'ai certainement apprécié mon temps ici.

I'm quite happy to have had the opportunity to study at 3WA.
[[Full disclosure: I was accepted directly into the "concepteur développeur d'applications" course for my alternance after an entry exam, with the help of 3WA I found my alternance quickly and had a very nice time with a very welcoming team, and afterward was able to accept a very nice position as a backend developer within a large company. That is to say, I got very, very lucky at basically every step of the process, and so it's no wonder I would come out of the experience feeling positive.]]
What I will say that is genuinely agnostic of the outcome is that the teaching and administrative staff were very, very, very patient and helpful with me. French is not my native language and, especially when I began the program, I really struggled to communicate. Everyone was very accomodating with me as I often tripped over my words and probably made very little sense. Thoughout the 15 or so months, I encountered several rather curious, complex and often urgent administrative issues stemming from my residency, changes to my contract, changes to my cursus, changes to the end date of my alternance (none of this was 3WA's fault, by the way), and at every step of the way, the administration team was right behind me. I'm really, really thankful for that.
I quite enjoyed the program itself as well. The teaching staff for the CDA program were all exceptionally friendly, extremely helpful, very patient (especially in regards to the French...), and obviously quite knowledgeable. I would challenge, however, the school's maxim of "90% practice, 10% theory" as I would have loved to have spoken a lot more on the theory of architectures and databases in particular, but I understand you can't fit everything into a curriculum.
Wonderful administrators, wonderful teachers. I certainly appreciated my time here.
