I booked a Nikon D850 camera. The merchant modified my order without my knowledge and added $1,000. I called to ask if I was out of stock. The merchants promoted the so-called US version of the D850 to the same product. However, the price of the camera was more than $1,000 for me to make additional payments. So I proposed to cancel the order and refund, merchants do not allow direct refunds for various reasons. I called again for a refund to cancel the order and the merchant immediately informed that it had been shipped. Request to provide ups package number, but was told to wait again and again! ! ! I sent 6 e-mails and the merchant did not reply! ! ! I will safeguard the rights through legal channels in the end!

I have shopped for my camera gear at 42nd Street Photo for almost four decades. During that time I have purchased thousands of dollars worth of camera bodies, lenses and accessories. I always found 42nd Street to have the lowest prices and the quickest service. That latter point is especially important to me since for almost all of the time I have been a customer I did not live in NYC and my purchases arrived via mail in Alaska, Arizona and Washington.

The Sigma dock I ordered was delivered quickly. The website was easy to navigate and the purchase experience was hassle free. I will likely order from 42nd Street Photo again.

I was shopping for a Canon SL1 camera with a 18-55mm lens and 42nd Street Photo had the best price. I placed my order online and the camera was promptly shipped. The camera arrived in perfect condition and a complimentary cleaning kit was sent with the camera. Originally from the east coast, I have purchased from 42nd St. Photo before the internet came into existence. It really was no surprise that I received great service from a company that's been around for a long time.
