Worst experience ever- AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
He stole money from my bank account and are refusing to give it back.
He took an unauthorised payment from my bank account of £250 and pretended that he needed the card details to simply hold the van and that no money would be taken. This is fraud.
He asked me to pay for the deposit and van hire in cash the following day but i refused and paid on my card.
He tried to increase the negotiated rate on the day.
When the booking was finished he refused to pay me back my deposit even though there was no damage. I didnt know that he had taken 2 deposits at this stage!!
He asked me to keep my petrol receipts. I figured that he must pay petrol (like zipcar) but he doesnt. I can only guess that he claims the VAT for himself?
Be warned these cheap bangers drink petrol like there's no tomorrow. False economy.
I tried to support a local. Big mistake- stick with the reputable suppliers.
I wont stop letting everyone know about what they did to me until they pay back the money they stole.
