Horrible service, rude, don't honour the warranty and after $5,000 for a Split system in2021 it broke down. Charged $400.00. Worked a week then leaked all over my wood floors and furniture. Told me it was my fault for having things underneath it. How do you move wood floors. 2022 they lent us a 5,000 btu window unit. My husband had a bad heart and lung cancer. We lived in one room nearly all summer. 2023 we bought a portable unit as we had nothing. 2024 my husband was rushed into hospital. They finally got the AC replaced however he passed away before it. 2025 it worked ok but this year nothing again. They used up all the labour warranty while it wasn't working. Now they told us that we have Fujitsu 10 year warranty but they won't honour their end so don't call them again. Beware. My friends both went to buy washers and dryers. Asked if they could get a discount paying cash. They were laughed at and told absolutely not. Buyer beware. Worst business I've ever dealt with and I'm not alone. They put us, now me thru 5 years of hell.

Firstly, I told them the error code and they came unprepared! Secondly, I paid for call out and extra labor $290 while the guy was taking his time and talking on the phone at some point! He then said, he’ll have to order the part for my dishwasher and come back to install it. The company then comes back and wants to charge me $365 to install a sensor that ONLY actually costs $65! I rejected their offer and ended up finding and ordering the part item myself from the Miele company and installed it myself in 10mins! These guys are too over priced on all their charges! They also charge every 10mins after their call out fee!

Excellent Service from booking to completion of the job.

Come when they like & charge what they like. Had a Fisher &Paykel french door fridge that was shorting out our electrics. I did a bit of online searching, which made it clear as to the part that needed replacing. I informed A1 of the year & model number, to ensure they brought along the correct part. They didn't bring it & blamed the mistake on F&P. I was charged an extra $50 whilst the guy discussed the error over the phone with the guys at A1 Appliances. I then did not see them again for another 3 weeks, even though the part was available (I checked with F&P). They also charged me $60 more than the part cost ($208 vs. $148). On the plus side, both repair guys were competent & did a good job on fixing the replacement part in the fridge. So, I just think there needs to be more competition in the 'fridge fixing ' space. I hate to say it, but $500 later & 4 weeks without a fridge, next time I will just buy a new one - next day delivery, take away the old one & save all the stress.

Jack and James came to fit a new washing machine this morning,I told them my kitchens awkward but it was no problem to them.They were cheerful at 8.15,and quick and efficient.Woul highly recommend this company.ill definitely use them again.

Tom charged $343.74 to fix a dishwasher which wasn’t draining (not due to clogged filter), and a fridge which was making a loud sound. He fixed neither.

We haven’t used A1 before but called about a faulty oven yesterday, he offered to call this afternoon and arrived right on time. He managed to sort it in a few minutes but refused to accept any payment!!
Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend A1 to anyone after such good service!!

Rang in the morning to get my daughters washing machine fixed by this afternoon all fixed at a fair price excellent service

Prompt on time quick tidy, fixed my washing machine on the same day I was very impressed with Ray and would recommend this company to anyone and will use them again.

Bought a washer from Kenner store. A Samsung. Extra large. Comp. After three weeks. Quit working. A code showed up on display panel. Called. Their service. Dept. Arranged. To come out. And take a look at machine. Never showed up. Never called. Called the store. Salesman. Would not. Swap out machine. So I can do our laundry. Been with out. A washer. Two weeks. Salesman told me. He has two wait on Samsung to approve. The swap. Which could take forever. I was forced to buy another machine. So I could do laundry. Typical. Salesman. Sell and get paid. And screw over the consumer. Kelly Marie. At 4112. Academy. Dr met. La. Samsung stinks. Like a garbage dump.

Despite my fumbling with the contact details A1 Appliances provided a very prompt response to my unexpected washing machine failure. Arrived one Tuesday afternoon and expertly diagnosed heater element failure. Not sure whether they had one in stock, but soon heard I was lucky that they did have one. And Friday of the same week it was installed, so now my washing machine is back in use. First class service and a very fair charge for this service. To be highly recommended and commended.
