Gone downhill

Always used A2B in past but no longer worth using. Booked and prepaid for a taxi for pick up at 8.10am the following day, for an important hospital appointment. By 8.20 no show. App showing taxis near us....none. Rang office, said they were looking for a car and it would be 15-20 mins. I said I had booked it the night before, so not good enough. Said they will make it an ASAP ...I said how long is an ASAP....15-20 mins! I cancelled and caught a bus arriving at my hospital at 10.00am - 30 mins late. Can't risk that again.

Absolutely disgusting company

Absolutely disgusting company. Pre Booked and paid for 4 taxis for my wedding day to and from the venue. First taxi was 30 minutes late and turned up different to what I had pre paid for. Decided I couldn’t risk it and cancelled all taxis and to just use Uber. When I cancelled I was told I would get a full refund on all taxis. 2 weeks later and still having to fight and argue for a refund on one of the taxis for over £50 which was never used and cancelled 8 hours before hand. Will never use A2B again, stick to UBER!

I booked a taxi my telephone number is…

I booked a taxi my telephone number is recognised by their system. I got in the taxi gave my destination and was told I have to pay in full before he starts the journey.
On way back another driver didn't insist on pre payment.
I won't use them again and want my details removed from their system

I give A2B Radio Cars 4 star

I give A2B Radio Cars 4 stars because they do good job, but not perfect. I take taxi from station to my home, and driver was very nice, help with my bags, and drive safe. Car was clean, and trip was fast, no problem at all. They come on time when I call, and I feel good with service.

But, price is too high! I pay much more than I think for short ride. This make me little upset, because I not expect so expensive. If price was better, I give 5 stars. A2B Radio Cars is good choice for taxi, but I hope they make cheaper next time. I recommend if you need quick ride, but check price first!

The driver was Kind and Honest

The driver was kind, polite and honest.
He arrived within scheduled time and was so sincere and honest that came back to return the extra money given accidentally.
Using them from over 19 yrs when Uber did not exist.
Will definitely recommend them.

Ordered a taxi 3hrs before scheduled…

Ordered a taxi 3hrs before scheduled pick up time. Taxi arrived 25 minutes late with no apologies.
This made me miss my train and late for a work meeting.
I’d give a zero rating if I could. Next time I’ll use a rival company due to no apology. Customer service non existent on this occasion.

Absolutely dreadful service

Absolutely dreadful service. Ordered a taxi at 18:25 today, waited for 45 mins in the cold wind and rain. Then rang the driver who said he's not coming, had already contacted the operator. No one phoned me to let me know when/if a taxi is turning up. Eventually one turned up at 19:40 (after I said I'll wait 15 mins and no more - just get a taxi by the QE hospital instead). It was so cold waiting out there with my bad back. It's quite clear that if the owner of grey Hyundai EA21 GTZ cannot have the common courtesy to phone me to say he's not coming, then he shouldn't be doing the job full stop.

can't believe i've been using this awful company for so long
i can't think of anything that is right with them
cause that's the shortest list
the what's wrong list is far too long and not enough space to write down all the diabolical liberties they take, disgusting how you treat your customers
uber is 100 times better in every way

Overpricd/?

This was my first and last time using A2B, the first operator was extremely unhelpful, I had to call back to advise I needed a car to take a folding mobility aid, this second lady was way more curteous.
The car arrived on time, the passenger seat blocked with his drink, lunch and mobile phone, which he constantly looked at whilst driving.
He drove off before I'd got my seat belt on. Both hands came off the steering wheel at one point to use the phone. That said, he did arrive on time, was friendly and didn't speed, but I didn't feel safe as he wasn't concentrating on the road and veered towards the pavement, frequently.
What really shocked me though
, was the price, £15 charge to go from B31 to QE hospital main entrance, Castle Cars charged £10.00 for the same return journey, which was more in keeping with my expectations.

Great Service

Booked a cab to go go to Terminal 5 two days before
On the day driver was on time and helped load four pieces of luggage and dropped us at the Terminal
He was polite and friendly and helped load and unload the luggage
Also called them to pick me up on my return on 1/4/24 and was there in 25 minutes to pick us up
Would use them again

Pre-booked a taxi

Pre-booked a taxi, rang up 10 minutes after it was due to be told the driver was 10 minutes away. Cancelled booking and just got an Uber instead which arrived within 2 minutes.

Disgusting service! I booked the taxi in advance and was told my ride had been declined. The worst taxt company - take my advice and use Bolt they arrived within three minutes of request.

What a dreadful company they have…

What a dreadful company they have become, absolutely shocking, avoid them, when you have a problem, which I have had several in the last month, you get put through to a Indian call centre.
I use them about 4 times a week, no more, absolute shower.

Efficient journeys and aftercare.

We had to book cabs to and from several NHS clinics just before Christmas. They were prompt, speedy and courteous drivers. Following that, we tried to claim back the costs. Graham was super efficient at sending confirmation details to further our claim. We were very impressed. Thank you.
