Unwritten clause in water heater guarantee
They do good work but seem overpriced. They installed my 40 gallon water heater in 2010 with a 20 year guarantee on a document that I retained. They serviced it regurally until I discontinued my monthly paid service with them wheupon I had it either serviced by other professionals or called them in to do it. When the heater failed after less than 14 years a manager did not return my calls and finally refused to honor the guarantee saying that it was only valid if they were the ones who serviced it every four years. He did not specify when it was missed.
