What's worse - exploding batteries or rotten customer service?
Rotten customer service - hands down.
My (2nd!) macbook battery swelled up like a balloon. So much in fact, that the casing snapped! I contacted customer service explaining the issue, with picture documentation, requesting a replacement. All within warranty.
I was met with an conflictive agent who insisted on the fault not being the battery. After an unpleasant email exchange, she simply stopped responding. Wonderful. I finally asked her what she needed (apart from the pictures I already sent) from me to prove the battery indeed is faulty. No response. I don't know what to do now.
I am appalled! Not so much by the sub-quality of the macbook battery (that I can handle) but of the dismal customer service display by this particular employee.
