Ace removed a bag of rubble from our front garden on 24 September. We were out for an hour and collection took place during that hour. When we returned we saw that the head had been knocked off a stone cat statue which had been behind the bag of rubble. There was no head to be seen the cat was on its side with an obviously fresh break mark across the neck. The cat was over 50 years old and very important to us.
Ace were contacted and from the start denied any liability. We and our builders contacted them many times and eventually the transport manager said there was a video taken from the cab of the bag being removed and a driver interview and that these would be sent to us. Last week we received an email with video attached
Neither the builder nor we can open this video.
We have photos of the intact cat taken shortly before the bag of rubble collection.
It is very clear that this damage happened during the one hour window we were away from the house but Ace have constantly delayed responding to us and just deny all liability. I want better customer service than this and would suggest that anyone considering a rubble removal service steer well clear of Ace.

Quick delivery and collection, driver Reg was brilliant and placed the skip where I asked. The ladies I spoke to on the phone were very polite, helpful and phoned back when they said they would too. I would definitely use them again.

Fast friendly service, very helpful staff on the phone & for the delivery. Able to advise of any access or permit issues and advised on what materials can go in the skip, also speedy collection when requested

Supposed to empty our bin on a Thursday. Seems to be Friday or whenever they want to. Last month they charged me for an empty on 2 consecutive days. I sent 8 emails over the course of a month to various addresses I have including 2 peoples email addresses by name. Not on single response. When I phoned up the girl I spoke to was rude, constantly interrupted me while I was trying to explain the situation and accused me of shouting. There have also been a few occasions where I received statements and no invoices and had to chase them. If I ran my company as badly as this I would be ashamed.

Brilliant company and thoroughly recommended. Really helpful customer service when helping decide what size skip was needed. Friendly, expert drivers who clearly have a lot of expertise (my driveway is very narrow and in a narrow lane). I would definitely use them again.
