Makes studying very interesting
Easy to understand modules with a very good instructor that knows how to carry everyone along in class. Flashcards, during and after class activities are very helpful with the overall preparation. The comprehensive final test and timed pilot exam questions helped me to determine my level of preparedness for the overall and final exam.
Makes studying or going back to school very interesting.

Expert instructor with good teaching skills at Achieve Test Prep
I had the best online class experience with Laura Vianello, my instructor for Humanities. She focused on the materials with no extra personal stories that take up class time, explained everything in context of the events in specific era, spoke clearly and repeated important topics. I didn’t mind being in her class for 3 hours because she made it interesting; feels like living in history of humanity. She is well versed and is beyond excellent in her craft. I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Achieve Test Prep. I was led to believe I was signing up for tutoring or academic support—but what I actually got was a confusing enrollment process tied to an $11,000 loan with Climb Credit, all without clear explanation or transparency.
When I asked about the loan, I was constantly transferred between different reps and never got a straight answer. I wasn’t shown a full contract or loan terms up front, and I don’t even remember clicking anything to officially enroll—if I did, it was rushed and not explained properly.
One major red flag is that their classes are **not accredited**, and they seem to go out of their way to hide that information. You really have to dig to find out that what you're paying for may not count toward actual college credit. That is something that should be disclosed clearly, not buried.
I also never received any services or classes before trying to cancel, and despite reaching out immediately, I was denied a refund and forced to go through my bank to dispute the charge.
The entire process felt sketchy and misleading—**except for one rep, James, who was actually kind and helpful.** Unfortunately, the system he works in isn’t built to support people honestly.
I would strongly caution anyone considering Achieve Test Prep to **do deep research first** and ask very direct questions about costs, accreditation, and refunds.

At the time of your enrollment, all financial terms, including the Climb Credit loan, were clearly discussed. You completed the loan application process independently, electronically signed Climb’s Master Promissory Note, and were presented with the loan terms and cancellation period directly via your email. This process is handled solely through Climb's secure platform—Achieve does not have access to alter or hide any terms. You had a four-day cancellation window to decline the loan, and at no point during that period did you raise concerns or request clarification.
Additionally, you canceled your onboarding appointment and were unable to reschedule, which prevented you from receiving the full orientation and services. At no point during your initial communication with our team regarding withdrawal did you express concern over loan terms or accreditation. Instead, you cited a personal hardship as the reason for discontinuing.
It’s important to clarify that Achieve Test Prep provides academic support and test preparation services—we do not grant college credit or claim to be an accredited college. This is made clear during enrollment and is also disclosed on our website and promotional materials.
Despite the circumstances, our team acted in good faith:
We proactively worked with Climb to cancel your loan, sparing you any impact to your credit.
We offered a fair and flexible internal payment plan, even though services had been scheduled.
We upheld the contractual terms that were reviewed and accepted upon enrollment.
We value transparency, and we take both compliance and customer service seriously. If you choose to pursue a chargeback on a valid agreement, we will be required to move your account into collections and pursue the full balance of the program, as outlined in the contract.
We appreciate your kind words about James—he is indeed a valued member of our team. However, your experience, while unfortunate, is not reflective of deception but of a breakdown in follow-through and communication after enrollment was confirmed.

My instructor for Human Growth and Development was Kelly Lawson. She was very kind and patient. She was welcoming and willing to help if needed. The only concern i had with the course was that answers seemed to vary on the different tests. This was confusing and I didn't feel confident in the material.

Developmental psychology
The personnel was great and called me on time. Any questions I had they were answered. I especially like the tutoring and mentoring prior to the test which prepared me for the final. Danielle was great and the course had a lot of interactive assignments and knowledgeable instructor.

It is horrible
It is horrible! I feel they misled me, lied to me, and scammed me. They have it all on their audio recording from the phone calls. I had to fight to get even a portion of my money back! I went through several phone calls and out of fully paid tuition they wanted to give me a $695 refund. This was after I paid thousands of dollars and only got 3 classes out of the classes I was promised. I had to appeal that and finally got a little bit more of a refund, but not what it should have been! Except I haven't got the money back. I keep getting the run around from Achieve and Climb Credit, Which is where my loan was through. Mind you, my loan is paid in full. But Achieve said they had to send my money to the loan holder, because that is the contract they have between the two institutions, and that is their process. Then the loan holder would refund my money to me. I have spoken with several people from both institutions, and no one can seem to tell me where the refund is. This is months later. Stay away from them. Don't take a loan from climb if you can avoid it. I think it's ridiculous! With the cost of college, students getting scammed is crazy! It's already expensive enough to go to school these days!
