Chairs with feet caps that brake
Actona chairs I bought have feet caps of poor quality (get broken after less than 6 months of normal use). After I have send them an e-mail complaint (because I believe that it's not normal to have chair with broken feet caps after only several months of use thinking that they would be interrested in doing something about it) their (repeated) recommendation is to go to DIY store and to replace broken caps myself, with, I quote: better quality feet caps. Which tells me that they fully agree that their caps are rubish. So unless you are willing to engage in some fixing (their recommendation is immediately after you buy them, to prevent braking) or if you buy chairs mainly to look at them but not to use them for sitting then don't buy Actona chairs. Buy some other brand, with feet caps that won't brake. Actona statement is that, I quote: Breakage of feet caps are unfortunately expected on all chairs at one point. I happen to know that it was not the case with my old chairs, different brand, used for years and still in use.
