As a photographer and videographer the majority of requests are from individuals wanting wedding or family photos and only willing to pay under £200. I don’t think anyone is willing to pay over that from my experience so far.
The platform itself is well laid out and easy to use, I can see the appeal to a user looking for a service, but as an end user I am yet to see any value from it.

Excellent service. Quick responses and reasonably priced. Turn around was quick and the marquee looked much better than expected. I would highly recommend and would use again.

Finding your website that was able to introduce me to caterers that would otherwise have been difficult to find, or dismissed as perhaps being too far away, was extremely useful. In the event, only one company that contacted me provided the sort of food that we were looking for, but that didn't ultimately matter as they were first rate and we had a very professional and friendly service from them. We would never have found them without your website.

Easy to access multiple caterers for specific needs for party planning, and great communication via email to keep you in touch with your chosen supplier. Good all round service.

Great way of getting your request out to multiple providers at once. Following my request I was able to review all the quotes and reject the ones I did not require. I would have liked to close the request once I'd chosen my preferred supplier but found that hard to do.

They were extremely helpful in recommending steel pan groups

We were in need of a live musician for our outdoor food event and "addtoevent" provided us with several names. we were able to choose the person who was most suitable to our needs and within our budget.

Got through quotes quickly from eligible suppliers that met our criteria.
Only downside is we did then received phone calls when we hadn't put a phone number down from one supplier who kept ringing back.

Other than that, pretty simple to look for caterers, which is what I used it for.
