Joyt was amazing she made me feel really comfortable and I fully felt understood

I first requested an ADHD assessment over 4 years ago, and after being advised to go through the NHS Right to Choose pathway, the process has been anything but straightforward.

Even getting set up on the ADHD 360 portal was unnecessarily complicated and frustrating. After finally completing onboarding, I received an email inviting me to book an assessment appointment — only to then be told this was sent in error and that I am still waiting in the queue.

Current waiting times in my area are quoted at over 40–50 weeks, meaning this process continues to drag on with no clear timeline. Despite contacting ADHD 360 and PALS multiple times, I have been passed from one place to another without any meaningful answers or progress.

This delay is not just inconvenient — it is having a real impact on my life. I am currently struggling to complete my degree and feel completely exhausted after waiting over 4 years for support. Managing this alongside caring for young children has made day-to-day life significantly more difficult during an already prolonged process.

Based on my experience, I have already advised a friend to seek assessment elsewhere, as I have no confidence in this process.

The communication, organisation, and handling of patients throughout this process has been extremely poor. I would strongly advise others to be aware of the delays, lack of clarity, and overall experience before choosing this provider.

This system urgently needs improvement.

I’ve also just looked at the 1* reviews and it seems a recurring problem. If I don’t have any correspondence in the next 2 weeks I’ll contact my GP to see if I could possibly move. I can’t believe so many people are having these awful issues.

the assessment was really informative and from this assessment we gained clarity. The doctor doing the assessment was very patient, understanding and kind.

A lady named Mertyl. She was the time I needed but personality was perfect, assertive yet patient, understanding and educational. Even had a few laughs in there as well she was brilliant. 5* isn’t enough.

ADHD360 has been extremely helpful at a difficult time for my daughter. The process has been testing at times but when ever I had a question it was answered and the assessment and diagnosis was handled extremely well with a friendly thoughtful manner. I would recommend this through the right to choose via the NHS. I’m hopeful that thing will improve for my daughter not that we can plan and support her thanks to ADHD 360.

I couldn’t have had a better experience and cannot speak highly enough of Shahinoor Islam. He was so helpful and made me understand the whole process without any stress or added extra anxiety.

This company has kept me up to date with everything and they’re there at the end of the phone to help with any questions you might have. My assessor was lovely and put me at ease right away. She went through everything with me and explained everything I needed to know. I feel looked after and in good hands

Made to feel relaxed with no pressure, due to Jo's temperament.

Was nervous and apprehensive. Was made to feel comfortable and listened to. Got the diagnosis straight after and felt in shock but was soothed by the practitioner. Would highly recommend.

I had my assessment with Imran Chohan. He was very warm and friendly and made me feel at ease. He was thorough with the assessment and explained ADHD very clearly.

over all a very straightforward and pleasant experience. The whole process was very easy to navigate with information support along the way. I didn't have to wait very long at all from referral to assessment i think it took around 6-8 months which is far better than the NHS waiting list as it currently stands. I would highly recommend taking advantage of the right to choose scheme if it is available to you. ADHD 360 was the one recommended to me most by others who had opted for the scheme and I would highly recommend them myself.

I’ve had an incredibly long and difficult journey chasing my ADHD diagnosis, the process with ADHD360 was so easy I almost thought it was too good to be true. But they have continued to be patient and supportive with my questions and medication titration, and I couldn’t be more grateful!

My assessor Imran Chohan was very kind and non-judgemental when I explained my struggles, and I felt really heard in assessment rather than feeling like I was actually being ‘assessed’. He explained ADHD to me in a lot of detail and reassured me that there is nothing ‘wrong’ with me, and I am so glad I chose him to do my assessment. I feel confident that he is working with me to help me manage my ADHD in a way that I was never able to before, and I look forward to making steps towards not letting ADHD be a setback for me anymore.
