Pure scammers (trying to reform?)

I've used Adobe products for many years and they are good. They have however turned to extortionist thiefs by the fact that their business model is no longer working.

Here is my recent experience warranting a 1 star review.

I took a 1 week Trial of Adobe Acrobat. I cancelled it the same day. I was a bit worried about the fact that you cannot remove your credit card once you input it but I didn't think much about it.

A couple of weeks later I was charged for Adobe AI Assistant when I clearly don't have an Adobe license.

Nothing more needs to be said. A pure scam operation.

The only option I had was to entirely DELETE my account with Adobe and I will never ever again come even close to them nor give them a penny for anything. Additionally, I have blocked ADOBE with my bank now as I don't even trust they will go through with my account cancellation.

Stay away from this company.

I updated the review a day later to two stars. A day after I blocked payment from Adobe and deleted my account, they initiated a refund for the money taken and returned it within 24 hours. Someone seems to be trying but still, this should not happen.

They really like breaking their products

Wow, thanks Adobe! You just did another update, and now the font I use doesn't exist in Acrobat AT ALL, not just difficult to get to like last time! Very nice! Please keep destroying your product till it's completely unusable!

Overpriced,Ok products, terrible coustomer service.

Ok products, but I don’t think you will have problems finding same or better products for free, or at a lower price. Be aware if you want to end any subscriptions you will have 1-3 hours available. Terrible customer service and you have to «argue» your way out of their claws. Not easy to unsubscribe without «help» from customer service and they don’t rush and try all tricks in the book to keep you as a customer, even if you clearly state your intentions -MANY times

Run,run, run far away do not engage!

Wher I begin? First of all my rating is a zero but i had to choose one so therefor I clicked 1 star! My nightmare begins with buying a subscription to create my Mothers obituary. I paid $69.99 for a year sub. However, everytime I tried to use it it would pop up a please buy a subscription. This went on for 7 months. I purchased the subscription thru my google acct. on my Samsung phone and what a nightmare that resulted in! Trying to get adobe support was impossible and to explain what I went thru would take to much space, time and frankly my sanity to even try. I will just say I was sent in circles, by all involved, google claimed adroid/adobe was responsible and andriod/adobe claimed adobe/andriod was and adobe/android sent me to just Adobe support but they said google was responsible and I was back at square one! This continued for months. No one has human beings that is accessible for help! Finding help is an endless sea of nothingness! Not to mention not being able to use the product I purchased! Suddenly after 7 months I was able to use the adobe premire. Now this just created new problems trying to fugure out how to use it forget about support it doesnt exist only endless forum post you have to read thru looking for the same issue you are having. Good luck with that and prepare to waste more of your time! What a complete and utter ridiculous product. How they are allowed to continue their fraud is questionable? Now trying to get a refund for the 7 months of not able to use is another headache that i am dealing with. I submitted a claim with the BBB and hopefully i will find resolution idk we will see? I do not recommend Adobe if you value your sanity and productivity, period because you will lose both!

Adobe is too expensive

Adobe is too expensive, and its AI tools are not as effective as widely available alternatives. The pricing feels unjustified, especially when other platforms deliver smarter, easier-to-use AI features at a fraction of the cost.

Hard to Cancel | Will automatically open for any download

First, it's the most annoying software on the planet. Anything you download will automatically open in Adobe too.

Clunky software that was uneditable. Literally had to get a separate PDF Editor tool.

Spinning wheel in literally every single browser, only when trying to view Plan. Had to go through Chat support just to cancel. Then was charged for 3 unused months because it's a "subscription."

Absolutely awful software

Adobe is treating loyal Customers poorly?

I used to be an advocate for Adobe, I purchased every Adobe Creative suite from 2 right up to Creative Suite 6.0. Production Premium. The suites certainly weren’t cheap but in general they were excellent packages. 6.0 was designed to work with Windows Xp, & the packages that haven’t been discontinued continue to work with the horrible Windows 11 albeit with some adjustments.
Lately my computer ‘lost’ the links to the software telling me to go to Creative Cloud - which I have an account with. But I now have to subscribe (pay) to use EACH INDIVIDUAL package albeit ‘ supposedly improved’. Furthermore I cannot create or print Acrobat pdf’s without paying for that too. It’s a stitch-up and dodgy practice IMO. Adobe like Microsoft HP et al are all jumping on the customer paying forever forever bandwagon.
Not me! Bye Bye Adobe.

Beware the 'free' trial that isn't free

I signed up for a 'free' trial and cancelled the same day as I realized I didn't want the service. Despite the cancellation, Adobe tried to charge me 14 days later. Now they are preventing me from cancelling my account until the billing issue is resolved. They have no contact mechanism on their website. Clearly they have designed their systems to force people to pay for their 'free' trials. I'm really surprised an ostensibly reputable company would be so deceitful.

Tried charging me 34x after canceling…

Tried charging me 34x after canceling my subscription. Luckily I used a one time credit card to prevent these scummy practices. They tried charging me for items I never purchased after the initial subscription failed to go through (hoping its go through as it was a lower amount)

A failure of communication.

A failure of communication.
Last week I found that I couldn't use any of my software - inDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, pdfs caused by my bank freezing my account after loss of card. This started a chain of awful time-wasting phone calls to somewhere on the other side of the world which resulted in… nothing happening. I was exasperated and often in tears. I was sent round in circles and over the last 2 weeks have collected over 25 Adobe emails saying everything from 'Thanks for your purchase', Your Adobe Customer Care case is closed (several of those), 'There's a billing issue…', Cancellation Confirmation, 'Thanks for your purchase', We've Scheduled a Call…' (this didn't happen despite sitting by my phone and computer waiting for a whole evening). Hours of wasted time.
I was a graphic designer. Nowadays I hardly open my computer except if a previous client wants to access some old document, or to do voluntary work such as Orders of Services for friends funerals. I need only the absolute minimum package despite your various employees trying to sell me hi-spec versions.
In the end, I called upon a Mac technician who spent 4.5 hours yesterday and 1 hour this morning, finally managing to get some software up and running, though I fear I might get closed down yet again. At £70 per hour I shall be expecting a bill from him for £385 - all because of the obscurity, inefficiency, the ridiculous on-line and phone service and uselessness of your staff. If there was an alternative to Adobe I would happily go there.

Very sneaky business

Very sneaky business. Can't cancel subscription online, it's very hard to find any customer support, you must call on the phone. If you are lucky, someone answer the phone call, telling you you are in an annual commitment, which has never happened!!!
